Mini Norvina Pro Pigment Palette Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 Begs the Question Do We Need These?

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

And here we are again with two new Anastasia Beverly Hills launches the new Mini Norvina Pro Pigment Palette Vol. 1 and Vol 2. Yup, two more eyeshadow palettes in the Norvina Collection. That’s eight eyeshadow palettes in the past six months that ABH has launched. Time to slow your roll guys or go home, you might be drunk!

I gotta admit the special thing about Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyeshadow Palettes was not only are they pigmented, soft, and silky but also, that they released every several months. ABH never overwhelmed us with release after release after release. When a new eyeshadow palette came around you felt inclined to buy it because you knew the quality would be great but also, because it felt special enough to warrant that purchase. But right now, I’d say they are getting excessive in the releases.

Jackie Aina, Alyssa Edwards, Carli Bybel, Norvana 1, 2, and 3 and now two more mini palettes? I can’t keep up! I guess some might say the Norvina Collection isn’t really part of ABH since it’s an artist collection but I still chalk it up there as being ABH related. I also feel like the past few palettes outside of Jackie Aina have been a little too loud for me but hey, there’s a market for these types of eyeshadow palettes if though I’m not that market.

It does make me a little sad though that ABH is sort of going for that strike while the iron is hot mentality. The beauty bubble is breaking so, I guess at this point brand’s are either sink or swim. Keep releasing new products to stay relevant and get as much cash as you can for as long as you can or stay safe and do seasonal launches and fall to the curb in the shadow of other brands. It’s a hard and bitter pill swallow I guess. I do think these endless releases can be tiring but I think 10 plus years ago this much makeup released in such a small time frame might have had me in a mad frenzy. So, you have to look at it from an age stand point as well!

I haven’t purchased an of the latest ABH palettes aside from Jackie’s. The others I haven’t found as appealing. Norvina’s in particular just aren’t my deal plus the fact they are pressed pigment palettes (some shades are not eye safe) really makes me not want them!

Each of the new mini palettes contain nine shades each for $29.

Laura Geller Party in a Palette Eyeshadow, Blush & Highlighter Palette Trio for Holiday 2019

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

It’s that time of the year! Laura Geller always releases cute library-like palettes around this year and bundles them up into a set making them ready for gifting! This year, we get the Party in a Palette Eyeshadow, Blush & Highlighter Palette Trio which includes a warm, cool, and peachy selection of palettes! If I’m honest the pretty peach palette is what caught my eye here!

Each palette holds six eyeshadows each, two blushes or a blush and a highlighter. You can keep the set for yourself or it’s easy enough to split it into three different gifts for friends or family!

The best part if the $29 price tag (plus free shipping). This set is now on wait list on QVC but it’s still readily available at nordstrom.com today!

Speaking of QVC….!

I recently picked up the Laura Geller Joyful Cheeks Blush and Highlighter Palette ($39.75) because you can never have too much Blush-n-Brighten in your life! This palette contains five blush shades and one highlighter (0.06 oz each) in the following shades:

  • Baked Blush-n-Brighten in Sunswept (swirls of pink, golden peach, and bronzy beige)
  • Baked Blush-n-Brighten in Apricot Berry (swirls of gilded beige, coral, and berry)
  • Baked Blush-n-Brighten in Dreamsicle (swirls of candy pink, banana, and fuchsia)
  • Soft Matte Baked Blush in Sweet Pea (berry pink)
  • Soft Matte Baked Blush in Plush Peony (soft pinky peach)
  • Baked Highlighter in French Vanilla (sheer, warm beige shimmer)

I’m using French Vanilla as a base for my eyeshadow lately and it really brightens up my eye area especially on the highbrow area! I just dust it all over my eyes and apply my shadow as normal!

Both of these palettes are available now!
