I just hauled Becca’s new loose powder but Marc Jacobs Beauty Finish-Line Perfecting Coconut Setting Powder looks interesting and maybe it smells like coconuts which means I own it now.

I don’t really use setting powder since my skin is dry and this is a matte finish powder but it sure is tempting. It contains five different forms of coconut and cocoa butter, not great if coconut breaks you out or you’re allergic to it (coconut makes me itchy sometimes), as well as a what they call a soft-matte finish that has a hydrated look and not a dry one.

MAC x Patrickstarrr I’m Not Blush Powder Blush Duo arrives in the Me So Chic Floral Realness Full Face Kit which was created in collaboration with youTuber Patrickstarrr. You might recall I reviewed the Mamastarrr Lipstick shade last week that also comes in this set. I wish both of these items were available individually but none the less having them in the set actually works out to a great deal as the set is a mere $48 and includes four full-size MAC products that are worth $95. Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder ($46) arrives today along with the Hourglass Veil Powder Brush for application. These two times are available for Rouge and VIB Members but will be available for everyone on April 23rd.

I typically don’t like setting powder but Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder sounds lovely. This is a finely milled powder that contains light-reflecting particles to blur pores, fine lines, and wrinkles while giving an airbrushed finish. It’s only available in a single shade but sets invisibly and promises that it won’t produce a flashback if you’re using it in photographer. They created it to have the same weightless, lightweight texture as the Veil Mineral Primer.

Hourglass Veil Powder Brush ($64) was created for use with the setting powder and has a double-ended design with the smaller, tapered side created for use under the eyes and the larger side created for all over the face application. The brush is pretty expensive but I’m one of those weirdos that feels like I need the brush so that the powder performs to perfectly. Does that make any sense at all? Probably not ha!
