Well, Benefit Cosmetics just dropped their Gorgeous Grocer Advent Calendar for Holiday 2024 and I did have questions why they housed in in a shopping basket and now we know why! The Benefit Cosmetics Holiday 2024 Collection is about the kitsch with a limited-edition round up of gifts housed in cans of beans, peas, and even sardines (and yes, a bag of chips is in there too!). Yes, it’s a grocery-themed Christmas Collection and I’m sort of into it. What madness is this you might be wondering? I’m all about weird vintage tins and cans and I collect them and display them in my kitchen and this collection just struck my antique girl mode. It’s not really Christmas AT ALL but it is pretty cute and that’s saying a lot because I haven’t been into the Benefit Cosmetics Holiday Collections and Gift Sets in a long, long time. I will say however, their gift sets are typically a great bang for your buck as many include full-size items and the prices are normally rather good!
And P.S. this is the first Holiday 2024 Makeup drop I’ve seen this year. Brands are really hush hush this year about their launches as typically we’d have WAY more info at this point but seems like they are dropping close to September versus July/August this year. And I don’t hate that at all as the Holiday launches feel way too rushed lately.

Well, before I explain how to use it I should first explain how not to use it as you don’t want to make the same mistake I did and use it wrong.
Our first advent calendar for Holiday 2024 as dropped today! Actually, it’s our first Holiday 2024 Makeup launch for this year! It’s the Benefit The Gorgeous Grocer Beauty Advent Calendar and this year they’re treating us to full-size goodies in this 24 day Advent Calendar. All I can say is it’s about damn time as Benefit always does mini everything in these calendars and as far as I’m concerned full-size anything in an makeup and beauty advent calendar is a yes, please and thank you kind of moment. That being said this is a pretty hefty price tag and will set you back $164 to grab it! But of course, when do we pay full price for anything nowadays? They’ll surely be a sale at some point.
What’s inside the Benefit The Gorgeous Grocer? I’ll share that in a second but the interesting and perhaps weirdest part about this calendar is the fact it comes in a the little handheld shopping basket. Ya know, like the ones you grab for a quickie haul at Walgreens or CVS. I’m honestly scratching my head why…! Granted, we haven’t yet seen what Benefit Cosmetics Holiday 2024 will bring! Perhaps they’re doing some sort of grocery or fruit themed Holiday Collection? But why a shopping basket? I mean, it’s sort of cute in strange way but also, not really a traditional Holiday-like item right?
