I am and always will be a fan of the original Naturally Pretty Vol 1 Matte Luxe Transforming Eyeshadow Palette. I consider it an introduce to the world of matte eyeshadow for me. I’ve always been a shimmer eyeshadow fan, still am really, but my real introduction to great mattes came in the form of It Cosmetics silky smooth formula. I really learned how to love mattes because of two brands, It Cosmetics and Tarte as they had some of the nicest, silkiest, and easy to apply mattes when I was first getting into mattes as up until that point my experience with mattes was how dry, dense, and horribly patchy they applied.

Anyway, you likely already own the Naturally Pretty Palette but if you don’t I totally recommend indulging today at 50% Off. Especially if you have older eyes or have had bad experiences with mattes in the past! It really is one of the better formulas I’ve tried and so easy to apply, blend, and create pretty natural looks with very little effort.

Might I take a moment to remind you of my love for the Studio Concealer Brush? I’ve never been a concealer brush fan and typically apply with fingers but this brush is pretty awesome for swiping or “painting” on concealer and blending out with either fingers or a buffing concealer brush like the Sephora PRO Airbrush Concealer Brush. Together these two brushes have made my concealing life so much more flawless!
