So, now that the Tarte Make Believe in Your Eye & Cheek Palette has been out a few weeks most of you likely got your hands on it and you’ve been using it in daily looks. Or maybe you’re just saving it and taking it out from time to time and gaze at it while stroking it lovingly. No judgement here, I whisper sweet nothings to some of my favorite, unused makeup palettes.

I’m actually been shopping my own collection and hauling out all my nude peachy shades for Spring. I know everyone is metallic crazy at the moment but I like a more nude look for Spring so, I’m gathering up all my favorite nudes to wear for the warmer weather ahead!

OMG remember The Body Shop Shade Adjusting Drops? Ulta Foundation Adjusting Drop Kit ($18) is a cool duo that allows you to lighten or darken your foundation with these foundation adjusting drops. Ulta has a leg up on The Body Shop as they sell their drops as a duo where as the Body Shop sold their separately.

As you might have guessed you’ll use the darkening drops to darken foundation and the lightening ones to lighten foundation. These a great seasonal item to have around because if you tan easily in the Summer and need to darken your foundation up you can easily do so without having to buy an entire new foundation! Likewise, in the Winter when your skin is a lot less tan you can use the lightening drops to lighten up a darker foundation. Or even if you purchase the wrong shade foundation you can cocktail these drops in to adjust the color. It even comes with a little mixing palette!

Nifty right?

P.S. My sister took my dog to see the Easter Bunny this weekend while I was away. I think my dog was traumatized by the experience. She looks like she’s saying, “WHY ME?! WHY?” She did a little better with Santa, with the Easter Bunny she just looks terrified.

Ofra Cosmetics is now sold exclusively online at Ulta.com! I thought this would be finally a good excuse for me to try out their Wanderlush Moisturizer but sadly, Ulta only has a few of their items available and not a ton of their skincare. Hopefully they redeem that soon and start carrying more of the line.

Ulta continues to grow in 2017 as it strives to become even better than Sephora in many ways adding brands like MAC, NARS, and more to their lineup. And what have we gotten from Sephora this year? Oh yes, a new website that doesn’t work.

Sephora, watch out, Ulta is creeping up!
