L’Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Concealer Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

L’Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Concealer ($9.99) recently launched at drugstores to compliment L’Oreal’s Infallible Pro Glow Foundation. This little concealer promises to sculpt, highlight, correct, and conceal imperfections with “glowing coverage” for up to 16 hours of wear.

It kind of sort sounds like L’Oreal is trying to re-event their own version of Tarte’s popular Shape Tape Concealer with a formula that acts to conceal as well as a highlight. The idea isn’t by any means a new one as we’ve run across plenty of highlighting glow-y concealers in our makeup lives.

I’m actually one that avoids glowing concealers especially under my eyes. It just feels like they put a big old spot light under that area when there is any sparkle or mica involved. Technically, L’Oreal doesn’t promote Infallible Pro Glow Concealer for under eye use. But many of my concealer purchases are typically based upon use under my eyes as I don’t really use concealer on my face. None the less after all this I decided to purchase Infallible Glow Concealer and give it a try.

Stila In a Firenze Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Stila In a Firenze Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyehadow ($24) is a new and I believe limited edition shade that might be exclusive to Sephora which has popped in and out of stock the past two weeks. I was finally able to snag it last week and it is now available again on Sephora’s site!

As a fan of the Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow formula I was rather excited to get my hands on In a Firenze especially since Kat Von D Lolita Eyeshadow & Blush released around the same time and the two shades compliment each other beautifully! I’ve taken to wearing In a Firenze all over my lid and adding a little depth to my look by blending Lolita at the outer corner of my eye. It’s really a perfect combo! The shades are quite similar but the finishes are vastly different and the smooth matte of Lolita adds a little richness to the sparkle of In a Firenze.

Let’s take a look!

What’s the Weirdest Ingredient You’ve Come Across In Your Skincare?

I got home late last night but was bound and determined to keep my eyes open and watch episode 1 of Preacher and boy was it so worth staying up late for! Now I have to make time to catch up on episode 2! Joe Gilgun is solid gold brilliance as Cassidy! He’s witty with his lines, his accent is spot on, and he just looks the part.

If you caught the episode I’m pretty sure you know where this post is headed right? A rather frank discussion about foreskins and the fact they made their way into moisturizer took place in Tulip’s beloved car (is that a Chevelle Sedan or a Chevy Impala?). I mean, we’ve all been there right? Road trip, weird discussions about whether Goofy’s a dog or not? I’ve totally been there many times in my life.

Anyway, according to Cassidy foreskins have somehow made their way into our moisturizers and they are apparently good for collagen or something along those lines. I dunno if I believe a damn thing he says but weirder things have made their way into my skincare.

What’s the weirdest ingredients you’ve come across in your skincare?
