Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Concealers

Hey, Becca fans! There’s a new Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Concealer ($30) that launched! Excited? You know me, I’m a concealer junkie so, I’m hyped!

As with many releases lately, Ulta.com gets the new Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Concealer first. This concealer promises to be weightless and water rich (hydrating!?) with enough pigment to blur imperfects as well as to conceal dark circles, blemishes and hyper pigmentation. It’s made up of 32% water which gives it an easy to blend formula and the light to medium coverage it provides is natural without caking according to the brand. It does have pigments infused with light to blur the appearance of imperfections. That always worries me as I dislike mica or shimmer under my eyes, for me that’s like putting a spot light on my flaws. But some concealers are subtle enough that you don’t get that disco ball finish! Let’s hope Becca gets it right!

What do you think?

Worthy of a try?

I haven’t yet find a concealer that I like as much as my Em The Great Cover Up! But I’m always seeking the next best thing. Isn’t it weird how you find something that works for you but you’re still completely willing to try something new?

By the way, Shea Moisure also has a new concealer at Ulta called Creme Concealer which is a lightweight, creamy formula. I ordered one the lightest shade! Curious if it’ll work for me. Anyone try it?

Japonesque Velvet Touch Eye Palettes for Fall 2016

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Japonesque Velvet Touch Eye Palette

The new Japonesque Velvet Touch Eye Shadow Palette and Japonesque Velvet Touch Face Palette for Fall 2016 have arrived at Ulta.com. I have plenty of blush and I’m not even remotely tempted by the Velvet Touch Face Palette but the eyeshadow palette I’m definitely feeling the love for!

This eight shade palette contains light and dark shades of Japonesque new Velvet Touch Finish Eyeshadow which promise a buttery rich texture with excellent pigment. The shades appear to lack shimmer or glitter of any kind. The palette appears to be made up of some excellent work friendly shades that will make some very nice Fall looks. It’s priced at $38.

The Velvet Touch Face Palette includes three of Japonesque top selling Velvet Touch Blush shades as well as two limited edition contour and highlighting shades. It’s $40. Each palette is housed in a simple black flip palette with no mirror.

I’ve had pretty good success with Japonesque’s Color collection so, I’m eager to try out the Velvet Touch Finish Eyeshadow Palette plus you can use the $3.50 Ulta coupon on Japonesque if you’re purchasing online (or have a physical coupon from Ulta’s catalog) using promo code 407893.

What do you think of these two new palette?

I def have the eyeshadow palette on my Fall wish list.

Too Faced The Power of Makeup By NikkieTutorials Review & Swatches

This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.

Too Faced The Power of Makeup By NikkieTutorials35

Too Faced has teamed up youTube sensation NikkieTutorials to create the Too Faced The Power of Makeup By NikkieTutorials Palette ($56) which pays home to nine Too Faced Eyeshadows, highlighter, bronzer, and two shades of Too Faced Love Flush Long-Lasting Blush as well as other goodies like a limited edition purple shade of Better Than Sex Mascara.

Fans of both Nikkie and Too Faced are likely going to want to get their hands on this limited edition palette, that’s a given right? And we all know that Too Faced has successfully created such mass social media hysteria around their collections lately that it’s bound to sell out before we apply our mascara in the morning! Will you be indulging?

I’m happy to say I got an early sneak peek of the palette to try out and I like the positive message behind it or as Nikkie puts it, “When life gives you lemons, punch it in the face and ask for GLITTER.” -Nikkie. Indeed, because as far as I’m concern glitter solves all of life’s problems.

Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow Needs a Moondust Eyeshadow Brush

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

urban decay Moondust Eyeshadow Brush

Love Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow? You need the Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow Brush! Especially since Fall 2016 brings not only new shades of Moondust Eyeshadow but also because there’s a new Moondust Eyeshadow Palette available!

Me? I’m a sponge applicator kind of girl when it comes to the formula. Some folks swear by patting these eyeshadows on with a fingertip but I use a good old sponge eyeshadow brush and call it a day! But let’s be honest, no matter how you apply ‘me, Moondust Eyeshadow is legendary for sparkly fall out!

The Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow Brush was created exclusively for use with the formula to not only minimize fall out but also to apply the shadows smoothly, and evenly. This a dense brush but don’t worry! The bristles are still extra soft and small enough to allow you to easily pack on color without suffering from sparkly fall out woe.

Armani Compact Cream Concealer for Fall 2016

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Armani Compact Cream Concealer

The Armani Compact Cream Concealer ($42) has arrived my dry eyes are terribly sad. Armani’s cream concealer is available in six shades and it promises full coverage.

Problem?

It’s a matte finish! It’s also created for spot concealing. Matte finish, spot concealing, yeah, this one isn’t for under eye use dry or not.

And I has such a sad!

Darn!

But if you’re oily and seeking a matte facial concealer you might want to try this one. It’s available now at Sephora.com.

P.S. I’m hearing the new Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer Creme is terribly dry, thick, and cakey! I has another sad! It released while I was on vacation and I was tempted to pop it into my cart when I got back but I said to myself I’d wait and see how things panned out. I know, abnormal of me to wait for anything especially new concealers. But anyway, I said, ah, I’ll wait! I’m kind of glad I did as I think it might be something I need to try out in store before I decide if I need it or not. I’m a fan of the original formula so, I thought the new formula would be a no brainer pick up! But the reviews are a little iffy. I already have drier eyes and adding more dryness under them isn’t part of my concealing game plan. Oddly enough, I’m getting on rather famously with Tarte Shape Tape which is also matte but still has a smooth finish under my eyes. Has anyone tried it yet? Do share your thoughts! Curious if you like it or not!
