Pixi + Caroline Hirons Double Cleanse ($24) is a new solid cleansing oil slash cleansing cream duo that was created in collaboration with youTube guru, Caroline Hirons. If you’re currently a fan of Korean Beauty and skincare you’ve likely run across hundreds of articles about the miracles of double cleansing. What is double cleansing? Double cleansing is a method (and trend) in Korea and other Asian countries where you remove your makeup with a cleansing oil or cleansing balm and follow up with a secondary cleanse using a cream or milk-like cleanser to add moisture back into the skin where it may have be stripped during the initial removal process. The secondary method may also help in removing any left over makeup or film left behind from cleansing balm or oil.

Benefit Dandelion Twinkle is available today at Sephora.com for VIB and Rouge Members! I’m a long time fan of the original Dandelion so, I can’t wait to try the new delightful shimmery version. Benefit Dandelion Twinkle is nude pink powder with a radiant, luminous finish. Dandelion always had a very faint shimmery finish but this new version apparently has a more glow-y look luminisity that adds a brightening effect to your complexion. Did I mention it smells like delicate floral blossoms?

Butter London Sheer Wisdom Serum Eyeshadow ($24) us a new fluid cream eyeshadow that launched for Spring 2017 in six shade selections. These eyeshadows promise anti-aging peptides to improve the appearance of wrinkles while smoothing lids and the light, fluid texture apparently changes to light powder during blending to give a subtle wash of crease-free color.

I’m a fan of Laura Mercier Eye Canvas, Bare Minerals 5-in-1 BB Advanced Performance Cream Eyeshadow, and Trish McEvoy Eye Base Essentials which was one reason I was attracted to Butter London Sheer Wisdom Serum Eyeshadow. I loved the idea of a soft fluid eyeshadow that gave my lids a wash of color. Don’t get me wrong, I love colored eyeshadow as much as the next girl or guy but sometimes I just want a color wash on my lids that’s not only easy to apply but also brightening. This is exactly what I get from Sheer Wisdom Serum Eyeshadow.
