It Cosmetics Sold at Sephora

It Cosmetics New Year, Your Most New Year, Your Most Beautiful Skin Set 2016

It Cosmetics is coming to Sephora and Sephora.com shortly! Yup, that’s right It Cosmetics will now be sold at Sephora! This is both exciting and scary to me.

I’m a big fan of It Cosmetics as you already know! I think into Sephora can opening a lot of doors for the brand as they’ll likely be bringing out some exclusive brush sets, possibly makeup sets, and more. Thus far Confidence in a Cream and 3-in-1 Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm are the only two It Cosmetics skin care offerings the brand offers but with the move to Sephora, from my understanding, they’ll be concentrating a little more on their skin care.

This move to Sephora does not mean they won’t still be offered at Ulta as well. The brand moved into Ulta in 2014 or so with an entire range of It Cosmetics for Ulta Makeup Brushes. I think with the move to Sephora you might see a more interesting round of products but the prices might potentially be higher as well considering this has been the case with many inexpensive brands that have started to selling at Sephora such as Soap & Glory. I’m hoping that won’t be the case for It!

So yeah, this one is a double-edged sword. I’m excited to see It Cosmetics at Sephora but worried the prices might be raised a bit. Either way though, It is a brand worth indulging it so if I have to pay a bit more to get, I’m doubtful I’ll be bothered too much

What do you think of It Cosmetics being sold at Sephora?

Excited?

Worried?

Do share!

Make a Makeup Wish List and Spend Less Money!

wantitnowme

I always have a running makeup and beauty wish list that I keep hanging around. Funny, makeup and beauty lists can be very helpful! How? Well, I’m prone to spontaneous purchases that I sometimes regret! When I’m busy getting ready to hit submit on some major purchase I try to force myself to instead write it down on my wish list and give it a few days. I find that upon returning to my list that the need for that product isn’t always as great as it was in the heat of the moment.

So, when you’re shopping online keep notepad open and jot down that item before you hit submit! Or if you’re in a store keep a little journal handy in your purse (that’s what I do) and jot down items of interest in it that you really want.

Later on, you can return to it and decide if you really want them or not!

I can’t tell you how much money this has saved me.

For example, I had Stila Stay All Day Prime & Anti-Shine Balm on my wish list for literally ages. I remember when it first launched I really, really needed it. It was a life or death situation if I didn’t get my hands on it. But I reminded myself, in my foaming frenzy, that I loved Mally Face Defender and it was my HG (holy grail) so maybe I should use that up and after I could try out Stila’s version. So, I put it in my notepad, closed the browser window, and safely saved that $30.

E.L.F. Beautifully Bare Lip Tint Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

E.L.F. Beautifully Bare Lip Tints

E.L.F. Beautifully Bare Lip Tint ($5) is a new lightweight, sheer natural looking lipgloss that launched in three shade selections all of which are loaded up with Vitamin A & E, Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil, Grape Oil, and Olive Oil.

I quickly snapped these up when they launched on E.L.F.’s website because I feared they’d sell out quickly! Last year, the E.L.F. Summer 2015 Collection included a Lip Tint which sold out fast and never came back in stock. I’m not sure if these new Lip Tints are the same formula but in new shades. Either way, the idea of a natural, sheer lipgloss was quite tempting but these are so much more!

When You Wish Upon a Jar of Moisturizer Good Things Happen!

This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.

Soap & Glory Wish Upon a Jar3

Soap & Glory Wish Upon a Jar, not star, JAR, is one of those rather gimmicky skincare releases that the brand does so love to introduce. Let the record state that I love me some Soap & Glory anything.

However, their skin care is typically a bit gimmicky and doesn’t quite performs the miracles that Soap & Glory promises. Soap & Glory is like a late night infomercial. That broom which sweeps the floor and cooks dinner for you and your husband plus takes the kid’s to school in the morning sounds mighty fine at 3:30 in the morning but when you get it, well, it barely sweeps the floor right never mind anything else.

But, the exception to the rule here is Soap & Glory Wish Upon a Jar.

Well, I mean, ok, it doesn’t do EVERYTHING they say it will be it does do somethings.
