Tarte Powder Foundation Brush & Removable Blending Sponge

Tarte Powder Foundation Brush & Removable Blending Sponge ($34) is a new 2-in-1 powder brush with a removable sponge that was created for use with the new Tarte Confidence Creamy Powder Foundation. This brush gives you the option to apply that powder either wet or dry and also gives a flawless, airbrushed finish when used in conjunction with Confidence Cream Powder Foundation (or any other favorite foundation powder you use and love!).

Tarte Confidence Creamy Powder Foundation Review & Swatches

This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.

Tarte Confidence Creamy Powder Foundation7

Tarte Confidence Creamy Powder Foundation ($35) is a new full coverage powder foundation that promises a 2-in-1 formula that acts as not only a makeup but also a skincare with a formula that’s moisturizing and that contains anti-aging ingredients.

Ok, so, brief pause.

I don’t like powder foundation. Sorry!? I have dry skin and I tend to avoid powder foundations, setting powders, etc…it’s just not something I really love using. Although I admit, at times, in the Summer, when my skin allows, I can get away with a little dusting of powder and cheek stain. Those are the days I look all of 16 years old but hey, minimal makeup is kinda nice in the warmer weather.

With much skepticism in place, I decided to give Tarte Confidence Creamy Powder Foundation a little tryout.

Stella McCartney Pop Available Now

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Stella McCartney Pop Fragrance

The new Stella McCartney Pop Fragrance is now available at Sephora.com. This launches in stores in April and is available as a pre-order on Stella’s site but looks like Sephora beat everyone to the bunch as it is now available for everyone on their site. Not sure if this was a mistake but best grab it now before it disappears.

Stella McCartney Pop is a more youthful take on the brand’s current fragrance offerings. I’m noticing the trend for Spring seems to navigate towards a more youthful demographic in the fragrance world. Dior is soon releasing “Poison Girl” (it’s already available in Europe) which is intended for younger lovers of the brand.

I don’t typically associate youth or fun with Stella’s branding. She’s more about chic elegance to me so it is an interesting take to see her releasing something a little more youthful and fun.

This a woodsy floral with notes of tomato and violet leaves mixed with tuberose, plumeria, sandalwood, and cedarwood over a bed of musks.

Honestly, reading the notes has me curling my nose up slightly. It seems like an odd cocktail but I know from experience never to judge a fragrance book by its cover alone!

I’ll be reviewing soon so stayed tune!

Stella McCartney Pop is available now at Sephora.com and in stores this April.

Urban Decay Walk of Shame Waterline Eye Pencil

You might need to get your bell out and start shouting SHAME! SHAME! SHAME! because Urban Decay Walk of Shame 24/7 Waterline Eye Pencil ($20), which launched with the Urban Decay Summer 2016 Collection, hasn’t improved much on the Urban Decay 24/7 Waterline Eye Pencil formula.

Shame on you, UD!

Why?!
