Last night we had a storm in New York. Gusty winds, hail, rain, trees and power lines down, fun times were had by all (not really!). April Showers Bring May Flowers but no one said anything about wind gusts up to 80 mph. I remember as a kid growing up New York once April hit we knew Spring was here. The weather wasn’t super warm but it was mild and we could be play outside again and enjoy the first warmth of good weather after a long Winter’s rest. It hasn’t been like that in years now. That being said, this sale is still a good time to stock up on brands that don’t normally go on sale or if they do go on sale they discount may be less than 20% off. As always, the goal of the sale is to save as much money as possible and one of the biggest sales tips I can share with you when it comes to creating a money saving Sephora Spring Savings Event Cart is to shop the sale during the sale. Another money saving tip us to keep account of brands that may be having sales of their own! For example, if you aren’t Rouge you can take advantage of the macys.com or nordstrom.com sale as they are having 15% off beauty, makeup, fragrance, and more on a ton of brands even luxury ones like Tom Ford and Dior. Plus remember, some brands just aren’t worth shopping at Sephora because the deals can be deeper from them directly. Remember, Mother’s Day is around the corner and many beauty brands will have sale. Some that come to mind that I wouldn’t shop during the Sephora Spring Savings Event would be Tarte (they always do 25-30% off), Urban Decay (who happens to be having 25% off right now), and Too Faced.
A great money saving technique to use to not go overboard and to save some money is go ahead and fill your cart. Put everything and anything in your cart. But wait a few days…! I can almost guarantee once you look at the cart in a day or two you’ll start making more logical choices about what you really need right now versus what you can remove and possibly wait for later.
