Celebrate Bare Minerals 20th Anniversary with the Collector’s Edition Original Foundation Kit

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

bare minerals 20th Anniversary Collector's Edition Original Foundation Kit

Happy 20th Bare Minerals! To celebrate 20 years of Bare Minerals you can grab this 20th Anniversary Collector’s Edition Original Foundation Kit ($38) which includes a collector’s edition packaged Bare Minerals Original Foundation (0.28 oz) in your choice of shades and an extra large Bare Minerals Beautiful Finish Brush to apply.

I can’t use Bare Minerals unfortunately for a few reasons one of which is because I have dry skin but most importantly the fact that the formula makes me feel like I have a ton of little ants running under my skin. The bismuth in the formula makes me itchy as hell.

Sadness!

I’m an avid collector of older Victorian makeup bottles, vanity pieces, powder jars, etc…and this set would look lovely on my vanity but sadly the formula prevents me from indulging but for Bare Minerals fans I’m sure this is a must have!

You can get it now at Sephora or Sephora.com.

Love the Body Shop Honey Bronze Highlighting Dome

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Honey Bronze Highlighting Dome

Ok, so I need these new Honey Bronze Highlighting Dome from the Body Shop! Seems everyone is going for a dome shaped blush this year eh? Sonia Kashuk’s new Sahara Sunset Blusher sports this shape as well as the long gone Guerlain Meteorites Bubble Blush plus the very cute Ciate Blushers, Bronzers, and Highlighters embrace this chubby dome packaging! Plus Philosophy has lip balms in this packaging as does Physicians Formula (which doubles up as a blusher too).

Am I obsessed much with this packaging?

Yes!

It’s cute, it’s travel friendly, and it’s easy to just swipe on your blush (or lip balm) and go!

So I’m happy the new Body Shop Honey Bronze Highlighting Domes are packaged like this!

The Best Japanese SPF and Sunscreens

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

japanese sunscreens

I wanted to compile a rather small list of the best Japanese SPF and Sunscreens that I’ve personally used and loved for many a fine year. I’ve used a lot of Japanese sunscreens over the years but three featured in this post are ones I come to back to again and again and again because I love how well they perform, how great they look and feel under makeup, and how fabulous the formula is.

Unfortunately, the US market hasn’t quite caught up to the Japanese one when it comes to creating lightweight, easy to absorb SPF formulas. I truly believe the Japanese excel at this which is one of the reason I purchase sunscreen products from Japan. They also happen to be affordable picks as well!

Let’s take a look!
