And we’re off! Another day, another MAC Fix+ to review! Today the MAC Yuzu Prep + Prime Fix+ which is one of several new, limited edition fragranced Fix+ formulas.

What a shame that the MAC Prep + Prime Fix+ Extensions are only available for a limited time (and damn, selling out fast!) but I have hopes if they are popular enough that MAC might bring them back next year in new scents. I realize not everyone loves scented skincare but I’m personally a lover of fragrance in my skincare. It doesn’t upset my skin and I feel like it adds a little to the luxury of the product so I’m all about it.

The Too Faced Love Passionately Pretty Eyeshadow Palette aka the Too Faced Love Eyeshadow Palette ($49) is a new permanent eyeshadow palette that launched with the Too Faced Fall 2015 Makeup Collection that contains fifteen gorgeous shades of eyeshadow, a how to get the look guide, and a Perfect Eyes Eye Liner all housed in a pretty little compact.

Funny thing, the Too Faced Love Eyeshadow Palette isn’t the first “Love” Palette that the brand launched. A few years ago, Sephora had a 500 point perk from Too Faced that was in fact, called the Love Palette. It contained eyeshadows from the Too Faced Smoky, Naked, Natural, and Soft & Sexy Eyeshadow Palettes!

Of course, the new Too Faced Love Eyeshadow Palette is way nicer! But I thought it was interesting that they recycled the name!

Makeup I Wish Was Better……

You ever have that “Makeup I Wish Was Better….” moment? It’s that moment where you LOVE but hate a product, palette, eyeshadow, etc…and just kinda just wish it was better.

You know Kat Von D is relaunching a single shade selection of eyeshadows for Fall 2015 and I thought to myself, “I really dig this chick’s makeup!” but I also have a lot of moments where I’m not using the palettes and eyeshadows I already have from her line because they are so damn frosty. I hate frost, with a passion….! I’m hoping her new eyeshadows will lack the frost because I’d be in heaven if that’s the case. I’d say 95% of my stash of products from Kat Von D is heavy duty frostiness.

So Makeup I Wish Was Better? Kat Von D Eyeshadow!
