My friend Libby was here from London for a few weeks much to my delight. We typically have zero Christmas time together and we end up exchanging gifts via post but this year she surprised me and came to New York for a few weeks. It isn’t quite Christmas but with the decorations and lights and the city preparing for it, well, it felt like Christmas to me.
Considering we never get to see each other around the Holidays we decided we’d go all out and have ourselves a Merry little Christmas early! We skated, we toured the city to look at all the window displays, we saw “the tree”, we went to see the Nutcracker, basically every quintessential New York Christmas tradition was upheld, hell we even had photos taken with Santa.
