Jo Malone London Ginger Biscuit is back! Bless the perfume Gods! I have a 150 bottles of this stocked up (well, not really, but I do have two and a half bottles) and I can’t tell you my level is excitement it is back. Jo Malone London Ginger Biscuit was launched in 2013 and was available for a limited-time with the Sugar & Spice Collection. It feels like Jo Malone does so few gourmands which makes Ginger Biscuit an extra special fragrance. To me it’s the perfect warm, spicy scent that makes me think of Fall and staying tucked up inside while baking cookies on a rainy day. It smells like gingerbread but with a twist of hazelnut.
From the brand, “Spiced with ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon, melting into caramel. Butter-crumbly with roasted hazelnuts. Warmed by tonka bean and vanilla.”
Top note: Ginger: Spicy and fresh with a zingy lemon quality, it opens the fragrance with lively brightness.
Middle note: Roasted Hazelnut: An unexpected crunchy note that intrigues with it’s green woody character.
Base note: Tonka Bean: This bean has warm accents of vanilla and almond with a hint of tobacco, it adds tangible richness to the fragrance.
The last time it returned it was available in a 1.7 oz bottle it is now available in the 3.4 oz bottle with special limied-edition packaging. It’s $168 but at Nordy’s at 15% off!
