Countdown the days until Christmas with the Benefit Countdown to Love Advent Calendar ($68) for Holiday 2013. It’s about damn time we get a beauty advent calender. Makeup and beauty advent calendars have been quite the rage in the UK over the past two seasons but I haven’t really seen the concept take off here in the US so when my laid eyes on the Benefit Countdown to Love Advent Calender I knew all of you would love it as much as I do.

Meet Ponds Pure White Facial Cleansing Foam which is apparently formulated with activated carbon. Supposedly this carbon attracts “black” this lifting away dirt, oil, makeup, and blackheads creating clean skin. Eh? Black attracts black that’s basically what the formula is marketed as. Meaning dirt is attracted to the activated carbon in the formula. Although the actual cleanser looks purple and not the carbon black one would suspect….but hey, interesting concept.
