Sol de Janeiro After Hours Perfume Mist is a new, limited edition Fall 2023 launch that contains notes of midnight jasmine, black currant, and amber woods. As per the brand it’s an “intoxicating, velvety, and amber-floral fragrance invites you to experience the magnetism of an uninhibited evening. Dusk turns to dawn with hypnotic notes of midnight jasmine, black currant, and amber woods.”

This sounded like a perfect Fall fragrance. Something warm, sultry, sensual…perfect for the brisk days of the season. Plus it’s Sol de Janeiro so it has to be unique right? Sadly, After Hours is disappointing to me and it’s also a double-edged sword.

I’m still loving so hardcore on Covergirl’s Yummy Gloss Daylight Collection but I’d be willing to cheat a little bit with this new selection of Milani Fruit Fetish Lip Oil Nudes! Coco Cacao, Blackberry Agave, Honey Fig, and Lychee Nectar are four brand new shades that launched for the Fall season and I’m here for it. Glossy nude lips? Yes, please. Milani is inside my head and heart with this launch! You know I adore me some glossy lips and I’m seeing SO many different lip oils and lipglosses launching for Fall. YES YES YES! Finally down with the mattes and let’s get back to super glossy lip looks.

These are sheerer so don’t expect a ton of color from them but I’m still pretty hyped they put together a little selection of nudes for the cooler weather. I love nudes around this time of the year and I’ve truly come to appreciate wearing them. I used to find it challenging trying to find a nude lip color that didn’t make me look like living dead girl. But finally learned which shades flatter me the best and now I’m all about them. I love pairing a nude lip up with a peach or coral blush!
