Rain Cosmetics Blood, Sweat, & Tears Collection

Blood, Sweat, and Tears…that’s what it takes to run a blog like Musings. I’ve always felt like Musings was a piece of cake to create/do/update/etc…but the past year or two alot more hard work goes into it than I’d ever would have imagined.

It’s like a marriage. I really have to commit to it, treat it well (less it’s server or database goes all wonky on me), and put alot of love and attention into it so it succeeds.

The new Rain Cosmetics Blood, Sweat, & Tears Collection celebrates the hard work you put into looking fabulous or perhaps the hard work you put into your blog to make it look brilliant *wink*.

Urban Decay 24/7 Concealer Pencil Swatches

Urban Decay has relaunched their 24/7 Concealer Pencil line. Everyone run in circles, foam at the mouth, and fall on the floor….it’s that exciting. I loved the original and I actually ran out (I never hit pan or finish anything, we need cake to celebrate that blessed event) and for some odd reason never repurchased. What is wrong with me?

Now typically concealer pencils make me cringe but their version has always been a smooth, hydrating experience. Plus the nifty little pencil travels around well with me.

The bad news….the formula is actually the same as it always was (with a big minor change that I’ll tell you about in my upcoming review) as in the ingredients haven’t technically changed. What has changed is the packaging and the fact that Urban Decay has added four new shades to the mix to suit the darker skin ladies.

MAC Naturally Mineralize Eyeshadow Daylight Summer Haze Review, Swatches, Photos

I kinda sorta wished that MAC Naturally would have included a nude, natural quad or some nude shades of shadow, not Mineralize Shadows. I normally like Mineralize Shadows but I noticed that they stick around in my stash unused and unloved alot more than regular potted MAC shadows.

But it does look like MAC Naturally has a few shades that might be worthy a pick up!
