“What’s in a name? That which we call a rose, by any other name would smell as sweet.”

Indeed, fair Juliet, what’s in a name? Obviously alot of emphasis is placed on brand names. Slap Chanel’s name across an eyelash curler and instantly it becomes something we all covet and must own.

The new Chanel Recourbe Cils de Chanel Precious Eyelash Curler became an instant obsession for me when it released in Asia earlier this year. I’ve been sitting on it for a while as I was unsure when the actual North America release would be, I suspected Holiday 2011. It appears we don’t have to wait as far away as Holiday as Chanel gifts us with their eyelash curler for the Fall season.

Bite Beauty didn’t get the memo that we aren’t YET in the Holiday Season but that hasn’t prevented them from releasing a few new gift sets…hey, we can gift it to each other for Halloween eh?

My love for Rosebud Salve really knows no bounds. I keep one in my desk drawer, one on my desk, one on my nightstand, one on my vanity, one in my bathroom….yeah, well, I’m obsessed with, I’ve made no secret about that.

But I’m a beauty junkie and therefore I have no loyalties to any one product so I’m always willing to try something new! Eep! How horrid of me to go cheating on Rosebud Salve but sorry the new Nuance Salma Hayek Rose Petal Hydrating Balm looked mighty interesting and it whispered at me to take it home since its on sale this week at CVS.

It didn’t take a whole lot of urging from the balm to actually get me to buy it….!

Somehow, someway Bath and Body Works has brainwashed me into the need to change my hand soap with each season. Seriously, sometimes it’s really high maintenance game time being a beauty junkie.

Do we really need to change hand soaps with the seasons? I say nay but my obsessive compulsive beauty nature demands I do it anyway. How diseased.

Well, if you’re like me you’ll want to start picking up some Fall hand soaps for your bathroom and kitchen sinks and Bath & Body Works has several new ones to choose from.

The new Stila Love and Empower Set is a palette inspired by the book, The Help, which is about a twenty-something year old named Skeeter who is a southern girl who returns home after graduating from college in 1962 and proceeds to turn her small town upside down by interviewing the African American women who have spent their lives taking care of rich southern families. What insures is a story about the empowerment of women, both from lower and upper classes.

To celebrate both the book and the film Stila has created the Love and Empower Set which I briefly discussed last week.
