When I was younger visiting Toys R’ Us was like heaven. All those toys, aisles and aisles of them! When I grew up bookstores and electronic stores and..ahem…office supply stores (yes, I have a thing for office supplies, sue me) held the same exciting appeal as Toys R’ Us did and actually still do. I actually have a Kindle 2 and a Sony Reader plus I have an Ipad on the way but I can honestly say there is nothing in the world like a stroll and a browse through Barnes and Noble. I love the quiet, peaceful aisles, the smell of new books combined with a hint of some flavored coffee drink from the cafe. In my minds eye, this must be what heaven is like if it exists.

I imagine by now we all know how the Muse feels about whiter, brighter skin. Good skin, starts with good skin care. If I learned anything in my makeup life, I learned that indulging in cheaper skin care just doesn’t cut it. Splurging on a good skincare regime is always in order as far as my recommendations go.
I can’t say I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing much of Bobbi Brown Skincare but the few pieces I have tried, have been amazing.

I admit, from time to time, I have joked about drinking a bottle of Lush Snow Fairy. Seriously, it�s terribly addicting stuff isn�t it? Don�t you want to kick and scream because it�s only available once a year? Why, Lush, Why?! Damnit we need our Snow Fairy year round! Why limit it to the Holidays? It�s just so terribly cruel!
Anyway….
As I said, I do admit a time or time I�ve been tempted to take a slug of my bottle. It just smells so sweet and fruity and gorgeous who wouldn�t be enticed to take a little sip. But, even as a beauty junkie, I draw the line at chugging back shower gel.
Now I can actually eat my Snow Fairy if I want, the new Lush Lip Scrubs make it possible.

Mmmm Chanel Paris-Shanghai Makeup Collection has my eye this morning! Such basic colors we all have in our makeup library but we probably never considered pairing them up in such a a dramatic fashion right?
