Bath & Body Works Moxy A Brand of Skincare With It’s Own Trademark Ingredients

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Bath & Body Works Moxy Skincare, Haircare and Vitamins are a new “Whole Body Wellness Collection” that is now available online. The collection not only features assorted skin and haircare but also, a line of Dietary Supplement Gummies that support immunity, sleep wellness, hair, and more.

The Bath & Body Works Moxy Collection was developed to reduce plastic and packaging plus the formulas that have been tested by dermatologists, are vegan or vegetarian, have never been tested on animals and that say “no” to parabens, artificial dyes, phthalates, gluten, talc, and mineral oil as per Bath and Body Works Website. Some items offer refills to reduce waste. They are marketing the line as an all-inclusive range of products for all shapes, all skin tones, all hair types, and all genders.

The skincare collection features facial moisturizers, face scrubs, face masks, and cleansers for oily, dry, and sensitive skin. The haircare collection features shampoo, conditioner, and hair masks for straight, curly, and wavy hair.

I can honestly say as addicted as I am to skincare this fails to capture my attention. Who knows maybe it’ll be outstanding but there are so many skincare brands at the moment I just don’t see anything here that really stands out as something I absolutely must have. They’re really just covering the very basic of formulas with this launch. Worst they are making up their own trademark ingredients like Soap & Glory. For example, the Moxy ALL SKIN Face Moisturizer contains: PEELMOIST™ molecular film improves moisturization with BRIGHLETTE™ ingredient which helps improve skin tone. Unfortunately, there are absolutely no ingredients listed on the website to explain more about what Pealmoist and Brightlette really mean in more understandable skincare terms. So, is Brightlette another word for Vitamin C?!?!?! We’ll never know without a complete ingredient list. Worst is the online exclusivity. These products are not coming to stores but online only from my understanding. Without a way to see the ingredients you’re really going in for a blindbuy!

I think they really hurt themselves by making this so basic. I do think a lot of beauty lovers have scaled back considerably and enjoying a more simple makeup and skincare life as of late. That could be due to the rising costs of beauty or it could be simply because we are exhausted and feel like we have too much of the same thing. We also may feel like basic and simple is better. In this case though, the lack of variety may hurt them instead of working in their favor. The only thing I can think of is diehard Bath and Body Works fans (and there are plenty) might really love the idea of this. Throw in some good sales and you may just have a successful launch.

I wonder if Victoria’s Secret will follow along with this and start doing their own skincare as well considering both are the same family of brands!

Bath & Body Works Moxy is now available online.

Colourpop Not a Box of Chocolates Collection Launching this Week

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

The Colourpop Not a Box of Chocolates Makeup Collection launches October 20th and features a new Not a Box of Chocolates 16-Pan Eyeshadow Palette with an array of yummy, chocolate-inspired shades. Why is everyone so obsessed with chocolate all of a sudden? First Sheglam’s Willy Wonka Collection and now a new chocolate collection from Colourpop too? I don’t hate this at all as brown is my eyeshadow shade of choice lately but how cool would it be if these collections dropped for Valentine’s Day instead of Fall?

Along with the eyeshadow palette, we’ll also be getting some new chocolate shades of Fresh Kiss Lip Lacquer and four new shades of Creme Lux Lipstick all of which are giving me 90s I’m headed to a Pearl Jam concert vibes. I can’t deny it’s a pretty Fall launch but it’s a little late in the season as brands are really starting to force down Holiday Collections and I feel like I’m somehow stuck in the middle of trying to prep for Holiday but still enjoy Fall as well.

What do you think of the new Colourpop Not a Box of Chocolates Collection?

It launches on October 20th at 10AM PST on Colourpop’s website.

Naturium 20% Off at Target Here’s What to Grab

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Naturium is 20% off at target.com if you want to stock up or grab something new. I’m personally very new to the brand but really enjoy what I have tried so far. Naturium Intense Overnight Sleeping Cream is fantastic for dry skin! This overnight moisturizer is thick, creamy, and highly moisturizing but not greasy! Another item I’ve been using and enjoying lately is the Naturium Quadruple Hyaluronic Acid Serum 5%. I’m a complete HA addict and this is a quite a nice consistency and provides plenty of moisture.

I’m about to try some other stuff. If anyone has recs let me know as 20% is a nice little discount!

Enjoy!

Sheglam X Willy Wonka Has Chocolate-Scented Makeup Is a Cheap Thrill

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

I have to admit the Sheglam x Willy Wonka Makeup Collection is darn adorable. This chocolate-scented makeup collection has several very cool items like a Wonka Bar Eyeshadow Palette, a Golden Egg Solid Perfume, and a Violet Flush Blush!

The best part is it’s incredibly inexpensive at $7 or less. Personally, I am playing with the idea of snagging the Willy Wonka x Sheglam Full Collection Set which is $40, all 11 pieces, and ships free! Plus I think there’s a 10% off coupon for signing up for an account! I have to keep reminding myself that I have Etude House’s Kit Kat Eyeshadow Palettes and Hersey Kisses Palettes which do have a lot of the same shades but oh god I want it anyway!
