Hipdot Reese’s Peanut Butter Milk Chocolate Pressed Pigment Palette Review & Swatches
Hipdot Reese’s Peanut Butter Milk Chocolate Pressed Pigment Palette ($16) is one of two new, limited edition six-pan pressed pigment palettes inspired by Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and part of the new HipDot x Reese’s Makeup Collection.
This adorable little palette is scented like chocolate and peanut butter and features three mattes, one glitter, and two shimmery shades of eyeshadow that will instantly give you peanut butter cup vibes. Hipdot did such a great job really capturing all elements of a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup right down to the packaging. You got a peanut butter shade that represents the yummy creamy center of a peanut butter cup along with a deep, dark chocolate that represents the outer yummy chocolate of the cup! And of course, a bright yellow and bold orange that represent the popular packaging of a Reese’s cup! It’s just such a fun, vibrant, and bold shade range. Sadly, this is a pressed pigment palette though so many shades aren’t eye safe and can cause irritation or staining and the glitter shade is for body and face but not recommended for eye use as it is chunky. If you are planning on using any of these shades (except the glitter! that’s not something I’d recommend for eye use) on your eyes just make sure you aren’t sensitive to certain dyes as you could get an eye infection or worst. Secondly, I always make sure to wear a good primer followed by a prep of powder over my lid to prevent staining when using pressed pigments. I did take one for the team here and used the shades on my eyes but always remember to be safe when using pressed pigments.
