What is it they say? Patience is a virtue? I was born without that virtue. New Yorkers don’t have that gene! We want it and we want it NOW! Yesterday in fact. I’ve always wondered if people let stuff sit in there Ulta basket and just let it marinade until a good little gift with purchase comes along.

Anyone do that?

Today they have that double cleanse set if you spend $50 and I was sitting here thinking to myself, “If you just waited on that small order you had in your cart you could have gotten in on that freebie!” But nope, I didn’t wait! I clicked submit like a reckless fool and gleefully watched the screen flick to my order number telling me my package would be on my way minus my gift with purchase that I was too impatient to wait for.

And I have no regrets.

No remorse.

Not a sorry in me.

If I want something, I WANT IT NOW!

I rarely wait for the GWPs to pop up.

News leaked on Instagram about the new Urban Decay Naked Cyber Eyeshadow Palette that will be arriving in September for the Holiday 2021 season and they absolutely sat at a table and said this is perfect for the Holidays. Spring? That’s too far away! Let’s get this up for the Holidays ASAP!

My cooler friends may just love this one. It’s filled to the brim with lighter pastels. I have actually gone to a support group, had therapy, and finally came to terms with the fact I do not look good in pastels. I am no longer in denial about this. Trust me, in 2008, I was positive I could do pastels like a Goddess from the Heavens above. Nowadays, I’m like, nope, nope, oh and nope! I’m a light medium skin type with warmer undertones and pastels make me look washed up like a mermaid washed up on beach.

The last time I did pastels it was 2008 and Shu Uemura’s Misumi Kitano, created a face chart for me using the brand’s new Rebirth Collection. After that I had to seek out help for my weird addiction to pastels and it took me many years to realize I can’t wear them!

I think on the upside Naked Cyber Palette is going to be appealing for those who have begging and pleading with Urban Decay to please do something cooler. On the downside many of us are going to be like “eh!?!” It really depends how you feel about pastels. Personally I think the palette is yak but I know some people are going to adore it. I think it would have made a much nicer Spring 2022 release versus a Holiday one but hey, everyone’s opinion counts so what do you think of this new Urban Decay Naked Cyber Palette?

My love list today goes out to delicious frozen yogurt, days your hair is so crazy you just don’t care, and fragrances I want, need, and must have! My love list does not go out to humidity and hot days in New York!

Seriously, WTF East Coast. Why you raining down the humidity on our heads so hard? Mother Nature has not accepted our tributes and is pissed again. It’s a really brutal humid week here in New York and I’m working from home today in shorts, a t-shirt, and no bra and let me tell ya when I say no f*cks are given, I mean it! I ran out before to hit up Taco Bell’s drive-thru for a frozen Baja Blast like the frat boy I am and it was delicious. Please and thank you! I got the AC on arctic blast mode over here and boy am I feeling for friends in the Mid-West without power. You have no idea how my heart aches right now for them! To be without AC on a day/night like this is insane 🙁 If you’re one of those folks I’m sending you all the positive vibes in the world that your electric comes on soon! Please stay hydrated and take care of yourself, your family, and your pets.

Today is of course a crazy hair day! My hair does any damn thing it wants everyday but it’s particularly freaky sh1tshow in the humidity. How’s your do faring over there?

Also, I haven’t had Pinkberry in a stone’s age! When did we stop becoming obsessed with it? I can’t remember. Was it Gossip Girl circa 2007 when we last ate Pinkberry? Naa it had to be way after that right? We have a Pinkberry-ish yogurt place near me that I haven’t visited in a bit so my bestie and I hit it up recently and to my horror they were out of taro flavor! I ended up grabbing some chocolate and loading up with the mini PB cups, mini turtles, and strawberries! I wasn’t feeling my normal cereal mix of Captain C and Fruity Pebbles. What do you like on your frozen yogurt?

olivela.com really tries me with that $150 off $500 deal they always have! Right now my eye is on Maison Francis Kurkdjian Aqua Celestia Cologne Forte. The rose, orange, sweet peak and musk sounds like something I’d love. Not sure how long I’ll be able to resist!

I’m sort of obsessing over that Truly Unicorn Fruit Eau de Parfum because I’m immature enough to want something with unicorn in the name and also, because it has fruity sweet notes of acai berries, matcha, and rose.

Speaking of sweet my friend texted me the other day and said, “YOU GOTTA SMELL Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Eau de Parfum!” and I was all like, “HELLS YES!” For some reason this one is intriguing me and I’m gagging to smell it! Pear, White Gardenia, and Brown Sugar? That sounds pretty funky but cool!

I also need to just haul Replica Autumn Vibes already! I didn’t do it yet because this heat is not giving me Fall vibes but I’m hoping this scent is going to be my signature autumn blend!

And I need to buy the bullet on KAYALI UTOPIA VANILLA COCO because I have a feeling this is going to be a yummy gourmand of coconut and vanilla!
