Sneak Peeks: Avon Pro 3-in-1 Lip Wand Review and Swatches

Coming July, to a theater near you. Dudes, I so wish I had that awesome announcer guy to lead into this review. Wouldn’t that be hawt? Ok so maybe I’m deranged and think that’s an awesome idea.

Anyways!

Coming in July from Avon is a brand new product, actually a few new products but today I’ll bring you one, Avon Pro 3-in-1 Lip Wand. Oh the excitements I just can’t stand it.

Don’t hate me for reviewing this so early k? You can’t get it yet but the Muse’s promises that Jillian Dempsey and Avon are working hard at getting it to you in July, right around the corner.

The Muse likes to think you can thank Mrs. McDreamy for all the cool new changes to Avon lately as she’s the new Avon Global Creative Color Director plus her husband has really cool hair, go Jillian! Yay!

Gee I lost my train of though, sorry. I was going to introduce you to Avon Pro 3-in-1 Lip Wand…..so did you ever want to carry around all your lip products in one slick tube? Liner? Gloss? Lipstick? Check, check, check! I’m not talking about carrying around three separate cosmetics, I’m talking about one single item with all three options available to you.

Likey this idea?

Jump for a review on a cool techy gadget from Avon.

Avon Pro 3-in-1 Lip Wand is basically your one stop work horse for lining, filling, and defining in one slick, slim line tube. Ok, I admit that I don’t really feel like toting around three products but I also admit that I don’t use lip liner so this could be potentially pointless for me. However, the fact remains it’s got that superfly, Inspector Gadget-feel which appeals to my geeky nature. I love the idea of a single tube that has all three products housed inside.

How’s it work?

Pull the cap off the top half to get to your lip liner, twist the middle to get to your gloss, and unscrew the bottom to get your lippie. Presto! All your lip goodies in one spot.

I think Avon was trying keep things simple plus offer three products in one value price of $9.50 USD (no worries the Muse bets her life that it’ll be cheaper when it first launches). I don’t think I can deny that Avon makes darn good lip products, remember Avon 24k Gold Lipstick?

So you want the deets on the quality I’m sure.

Here it is. Liner is good, mind you I don’t use liner, but it’s buttery smooth and goes on very nicely. Gloss, very good too, not deeply pigmented but quite shiny and glossy with little to no tack. Lipstick, not sure yet how I’m feeling. It’s not on par with Avon lipsticks I’ve tried before however I’m a tad bias as the color I got, Delicate Rose, is really nude and with a cream finish. Cream finish, nude, yup not so Muse-like. But I will say after lining, filling, and glossing up I really liked the finished results. I normally hate a nude lip look but I liked this.

Avon Pro 3-in-1 Lip Wand will be available exclusively through Avon reps starting July in 10 shades but I imagine it’ll pop up for sale online as well, if not we better all get on the horn to our Avon lady (I don’t even have one of those! An Avon Lady that is, I have a phone.). If you’re looking for the convenience of a multitasking lip product that’s easy to tote around this be it kids! I’ll reserve my full judgment after I tried one or more colors as I just don’t Delicate Rose was very me!

What do you think?

Like the idea of carrying it all with you?

Rather just carry around separate products?

I like the color the girl is wearing. It is subtle and natural, but also shiny. I’m not into loud colors, so that would probably be the color I’d try.
