Beauty Most Unusual: Pink Nipples, There’s An App For That!

unusual beauty

We haven’t Muse’d some unusual beauty in a while…what was our last one? Bacon Lip Balm? Foot peeling?

I can’t recall but let’s top all that with something great from Japan again!

Jump!

Ahh how I love fantastic Asian products. They do so make me happy. I find some a tad unusual though.

Today’s Beauty Most Unusual would be Nipple Cream…yes…nipple cream…..bust cream isn’t popular around these parts but it’s been done however I don’t believe the US market has been infiltrated with the likes of a nipple cream.

Nipple Cream 1

What is?

Why it’s a cream to make your nipples all rosy pink.

Shrug.

I don’t make this stuff up. It’s quite true. I first came across nipple cream while shopping on JpMon and was later quite shocked to learn what it was for. I guess it’s pretty popular to want rosy pink nipples….there are worst things to want right?

The Japanese call it the solution to dark and ugly nipples. Can’t say I picture myself adding nipple cream to my beauty regime…isn’t it enough I have to moisture my face and body?

Beauty Most Unusual?

Perhaps.

Funny, somewhat.

What do you think?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. jean that’s the first I heard that ha! obviously benefit didn’t think that would go down well. but now..wait..we are putting nipple tint on our faces than!?

      • jkim

i know, right? crazy how these things end up working out. i’m sure those benefit gals and that stripper from way back when have a good chuckle about it every now and then.

        • the Muse

LOL jean do you think they sit and have a cuppa with the stripper? “Oh remember when we created that nipple stain for you? Haha those were the days right? More tea?”

  • j3nn4

Funny….if I was going to buy this cream I’d want something that makes nipples darker!! Ah well, the grass is always greener

    • the Muse

lol that’s interesting jenn! maybe they can do colors..brown, peach, pink, perhaps green for the holidays? :-D! ha!

  • Renata

I think it’s great! By the way, just recently I came across the information that Benetint was originally created to give a natural rosy color to nipples. Funny, ha? Cute!

    • the Muse

lol renata this seems to be the word of the day. I swear I never heard that!!!!! ha! so funny!

  • BeautyBitch

Have you heard that Benetint is popular with topless dancers who rouge up their nipples? I heard that courtesans in European royal courts did the same thing.

    • the Muse

bora it’s the first time I heard this LOL! too funny!!!!!!!!! Happiest Holidays dear!

  • Jenny

Jkim is right I remember reading Benetint was Benefit’s first product made and it was for a stripper who wanted her nipples to appear darker on stage.

  • kira

there’s cream for down there too…just in case you wanted a more rosy hole for your partner i guess. i don’t even know. sometimes people who think of these things bewilder me…

    • the Muse

lol kira….I’ve seen that too….*shudders in fear* hold me I’m so scared!

  • Lucky

Finally, I don’t have to feel self-conscious when I’m dancing at the Crazy Horse!

  • Tina Matuchniak

I just want to know what they’re putting in the cream that makes nipples pink . . . hmm.

    • the Muse

LOL tina supposedly strawberries…but who knows! place the cream on the nipples and proceed to feel the acidy sting!

  • Marcy

I guess the Japanese are known for sick fetishes. But then I heard… wait for it… koreans believe pubic hair is good luck so people get pubic hair implants. Is that gross or IS THAT GROSS?

Have a fantastic Xmas Muse and I wish you a wonderful 2010. Keep the blogs rolling….

Being Asian I heard about this a couple of years ago, although it was never really something I considered buying.
This is gonna be TMI but I guess Asian people have slightly darker nipples than the average white folk due to there being more melanin in our skin. A pinker nipple seems more attractive, more youthful. It actually just ‘bleaches’ the colour around your aerola to a lighter shade, they demonstrated it on tv using a male model. They put the cream on on side and left the other side, the difference is quite significant.
I hardly remember to moisturise my body nevermind a special cream just for my nipples. I wonder if it’ll work on dark facial spots….hmmm….

    • Teena

I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m Asian and my nipples are very pink. But I’m also very light skinned. I guess if you’re a darker Asian I can see having darker nipples would complement the skin tone.

  • Lucky

Message? Was it regarding nipple-rouge? I don’t think I got it but I haven’t checked my e-mail yet.

    • the Muse

yes it was nipple rough and other things so please can it be mandy and izzy time now damn it!

  • jojo

Being an asian and have heard about this before, I know that pink or lighter nipples are more appealing than darker ones but I am a nursing mother and I would be scared to try something like that.. I can see why I would use this when I was younger.. 🙂 This is definitely interesting, I wonder how it works chemically..It’s amazing what you might find across different cultural and geographical regions.

  • shaynaJo

hahhaha! yeap.. I actually heard of this 3 years ago and I was so amazed with the Japanese/ Taiwanese’s creations. haha…

  • Isa

I had heard about this sort of thing awhile back…. on a site that sells anime stuff, actually (www.jbox.com). They had one called Pink Top Cream, but it would appear that they don’t sell it anymore (guess there wasn’t much of a market for it here XD). The image on the package is so friggin’ CUTE! You can practically hear the sound effects of the sparkly nipple! XD I tried looking around for a picture of the stuff via google images, and voila! here it is: http://www.singaporebrides.com/forumboard/messages/1151/138324.jpg

Oddly enough, there aren’t any other pics of it. o.O

Truth be told…. I’d like my nipples to be pink. ; ; And since I know you TOTALLY wanna know, mine are a light brown. With a little pink in the center. XD

I considered getting a “pinken-er”, but I worry about the safety of products like that. What the hell makes ’em do that?! o.O As it is, I use Tarte because alot of the chemicals in cosmetics scare me! *shiver*

    • the Muse

Hi Isa 🙂 LOL the sound effects of the sparkly nipple eh? hahaha!!!!!!!!!

LOL TMI on sharing the nipple shade dear LOL

god only knows, scared to think about it!

I was at an onsen (public bath) in japan and a woman made a remark about the color of my breasts…a little beyond my comfort level LOL. They believe that women with snow white skin and peachy colored special bits are beautiful. Their natural skin tone in that area are more of an ash color rather than pink….we all want to be something we aren’t I suppose. The product doesnt surprise me but that is probably because I spent a lot of my time living there. Great reviews, keep them coming muse!

    • the Muse

I’ve never been to an onsen, been to japan but never had the guts to go to one. My best friend Mai tried dragging me into one, could NOT do LOL wow can’t believe the commented….it’s typical though and quite acceptable in their culture. I think asians on a whole are obsessed with white skin which isn’t a bad thing imho. I’m the same in some aspects. It’s not on a level of you are beautiful b/c you have snow white skin but I do find a certain elegance in fair skin. thanks for the comment 😀

  • sensualaoi

Just wondering is this a long term thing, (like it dyes your nipples for a few weeks?) or is it short-term like lipstick? I can see why it might be fun for some women to try out once.

    • the Muse

not sure sensual never tried it hun. sadly can’t say if it’s short or long term…

  • Su

lol…these types of products..I have seen a lot when I was living in Singapore so it is normal for me but I wonder why you want to make it pink… @>@
