Payless Shoes Beauty Lines: Payless Shoes Cosmetics and Makeup

A few months ago we mused at the idea of the new Payless Shoes Makeup Collection. I think we were all pretty gobsmacked over the idea of Payless Shoes going the beauty route.

But as I said….

Stranger things have happened right?

Jump ahead for a peek at the new Payless Shoes Beauty Line and share your thoughts!

Well wow….it doesn’t look too bad at all!

Starting in October, 100 new beauty items will be shipped out to 1,500 Payless Shoe Stores with a range that includes makeup products for eyes, nails, lips, and body.

Most all of the line will be priced to own at around $10 or under.

The line will include fragrance as well as palettes, lip products, sparkly shadows, and more.

Well…count me curious.

Will you be heading into your local Payless to do your beauty shopping come Fall?

I’m considering it simply because I’m nosy as rosy and need to get the low down on these items.

How about you?

From the looks of it, it’s not as juvenile as I was thinking it would be!

Have you consumed today’s ?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I love payless! I get all my fun and trendy (and don’t care if they last) shoes! I would love for some of those goodies to pop up at my payless.. however in my podunk town, I doubt they will show up 🙁

Hrm…looks like something to investigate. Lucky me, my birthday is in October…bahaha. Those look kind of cute…I want that palette.

  • dina

strange. but how cute is that palette with the little bow?! i’m in 😀

    • the Muse

I kinda am too D 😀 curious how the perfume smells as well. I’m on board with cute hehe!

It would have made more sense to me if they’d focussed on nail polish.

  • Coral

I’d be willing to check these out. Payless might not be the trendiest place ever but they’re getting better with their shoes at least. I love affordable nail polishes.
I know that if I were to go in and browse around I might come out with at least one nail polish….maybe more depending on how tempting their items actually are.
Another thing they have going for them is at least it doesn’t look cheap. Packaging always conveys a lot and often pulls me in to buy something.

coral that was def something that got my attention, packaging is actually elegant from the pic

Hmm this could either work out really well for them or be the kind of overreach that really backfires. i agree with phyrra maybe keeping it at polishes…but fragrance too? how much effort could they really have put into this is my question.

    • the Muse

agreed knownever. either clearance rack or awesome we shall see 😀

It seems like they mean for the unforgettable moments collection to go with their dyed to match shoes collection. And my guess is the other one will be more tweeny. That said, i’m still looking for a little purse pallette so if they have one that is decent I’ll grab it and the gloss in the jar.

    • the Muse

yea seems so breyer…kinda glam-ish night out items but not sure 😀

As soon as I saw the photo my thoughts were: The lippies remind me of urban decay, the perfume looks like the baby phat goddess bottle, and the palette looks like a too faced palette.

Except it all looks a lot cheaper then those brands!

This is a definite skip for me.
