k, so, was very excited about MAC Fabulous Felines but than I saw it in person and I was like oh, well, meh. I was surprised as I expected to really hit that hard but I ended up hauling very little and just sticking to the early samples I got.

Was kinda weird as I expected to drop some serious cash here.

Anyone experience the same?

But certain bits and bobs did stick out for me one of which was the MAC SuperSlick Liquid Liner. Not a liquid liner girl here as you know but these were really nice and I was compelled to collect all the shades.

One shade in particular that strikes me as a must have at the moment, that you might have overlooked, was Pure Show. For one thing it’s the easiest one to apply out of the several shades released as it comes across more as a glittery liner rather than a full on liquid eye liner to me. It gives this foiled, metallic touch of gold to lids that’s pretty damn stunning and will come in mighty handy around the Holidays if you’re going for the gold come Winter.

If you’re like me and you’re wary of liquid liners and just completely bypassed the selection released with Fabulous Felines, I definitely urge you to hit up your counter again and try out Pure Show, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised how gorgeous this one is.

Loves it!

Total Muse Approval for purchase!

the MAC MA at the counter I went to last week was wearing this on her upper lash line, but winged towards to inner corners of her eyes. it was so stunning! if i had more $$ right now i would totally invest in all of these, haha.

stephanie they are really nice but this one in particular seemed a must have for me 🙂 no worries seems they are releasing them alot with other collections so next time around hun!

  • LINDARRAGNAR

Oh I was really interested in this exact color but the tester didn’t have the felt tip part, so i couldn’t see if it was too flimsy or stiff!

how glittery is it? I might buy it, but if its too much glitter and not enough ….pigment (?) I won’t. Glitter always ends up in my eyes but I love This color!!!!!

    • the Muse

def pigmented linda. A bit shimmery not so much glitter. comes across as a liquid gold across lids 😀 the point is fairly stiff, felt tip marker type!

  • Megan

I love the look of these liquid liners and hauled 2 myself. My issue with them is that they seeped into my lashes and made them stiff/crusty. So much so that my mascara wouldn’t go on. Any thoughts on how I can avoid this?

    • the Muse

mmnm megan didn’t have that issue hun! weird. maybe try applying mascara first and follow up with liner after?!

  • Amy

Liquid liner freak here. Got them all and got bakeups in the They- will – run – out – and – I’ll- never- see- them – again- panic. I dropped a fair bit of my makeup fund only to find out that they are a permanet item and I can get one any time I want. Sigh.
And yes; I really do have a makeup fund I put into every month to help feed my sickness. I think we all need one. Now I must go and slick some on. Like we really need a special occasion for glitter. We’ve got the stuff and that’s special enough.

    • the Muse

LOL amy can relate 😀 oh you aren’t the only one so do I. separate checking account for it 😀 glitter for everyday! no holiday needed 😀

  • Caroline

Well, here we are again loving the same items. This is pretty much the ONLY thing from this collection that I really want. Glad to hear you are happy with it.

  • LorraineER

I wanted these liners so bad until I read from a few ppl that they were really runny and took a long time to dry once applied. Did you find this to be a problem?

    • the Muse

no problems here once they set I’m golden Lorraine! They stay wet for a few though but nothing major!

  • Tami

You’re the second person that makes me want to bust through the doors of my local Macy’s to pick this liner up. I only picked up Signature Blue and I love it but I can’t resist the lure of that gold either:)

totally what you said english are english, welsh, welsh, etc….it’s kinda like calling the entire Spanish population, Spanish….they aren’t all Spanish are they? Mexicans are Mexicans, puerto ricans are puerto ricans, Etc…;) at least that is how I see it.
