MAC Cham Pale Collection

MAC Cham Pale Collection 2010 1

I’ve become incredibly boring in my old age because lord knows I’m all about the MAC Cham Pale Collection launching boxing day. Check it!

Releasing Boxing Day (December 26th) this collection is made up of many natural, nude shades. Mind you I can’t pull off the lipsticks here but I’m in love with the Paint Pots, Quads, and Lip Gelee.

Whatcha think?

Although it is somewhat geared towards fairer skin I think even though with darker can take advantage of some of the charming shades for a brighter, lighter eye look!

I’m really loving this and that’s saying alot considering I’m no fan of nudes.

Can’t wait for the release!

The random shade of pink in the eyeshadow quad is nice…I wish it was a stand alone color. Loving the bronze lip gelee and nail colors…but that’s about it. It’s kind of a eh nude collection for me.

Oh yay! I have been wanting to see promo pics of this collection since I heard of it’s release! I have my eye on the Gel lipstick, the Bubble Lounge lip gelee, and the two special reserve highlight powders. The Mac Fix+Lavender also intrigues me, but we’ll see. The paint pots look the paints that they currently sell in their permanent line, but it’s hard to tell.

and i have to agree with the wrinkly skin comment about the highlighter haha! definitely not the prettiest design i’ve seen in a powder!
overall i am a fan of nude hues and i think this is a really appropriate collection to bring out post-holiday!

I think MAC planned these collection out to a “T”. First, you have this collection which is geared toward fair skinned gals, like me. Then they have they bright, colorful Peacocky collection, for the color enthusiasts. Then, they have the collaboration collection with Mickey, for darker skinned girls.
For the first time, since the Spring Color Forecast, I am thrilled for a new collection-and not just one collection! SO YAY!!!! =)

    Woah, that promo looks weird.
So far nothing moves me, with colours like this I might end up looking dead. Not a look I want to go for. The grey paintpot looks interesting your pictures, but I am afraid it might look to close to EL Silver Leaf.
Too bad the quad has a lot of repromotes.

Can somebody please check my pulse?!

I might get the light eye kohl though ;)

And I think you are right, the collection might actually be best for medium and dark skin tones with a nice contrast. What are you eyeing?

We just opened the boxes at my counter containing this collection, and I am sooooo excited! Most exciting collection to come out since I started at MAC.

    Paint Pots-

Chilled On Ice- Frosted White Gold
    Vintage Selection- Frosted Mid-tone peach
    Dangerous Cuvee- Frosted cool grey
Let Me Pop- Frosted light copper

The highlight powder is called Special Reserve Highlight Powder, and IRL the texture looks like a crinkled paper bag, I like it!

    Fix+ with Lavender smells AMAZING.

Yes, the nude chromagraphic pencils are back, but there is ALSO an Eye Kohl in the mix called, “I Get No Kick” which is a metallic nude, looks like a ballerina slipper.
