Mario Badescu Vitamin C Serum Review

Mario Badescu Vitamin C Serum 3

I’ve always been obsessed with keeping my skin bright and white. It’s always been a bit of a chore as well since I have dry skin which naturally has a problem with dullness and a lackluster complexion.

Of course, I’m always looking for the best ways to keep my skin bright, white, and fresh to ease the signs of tired, stressed out, dull skin. I have any number of lotions and potions that I use to do this but one of my favorites of the moment is Mario Badescu Vitamin C Serum.

Check it!

1
An Antioxidant Vitamin C serum that protects skin from free radicals and is essential in collagen production. This Vitamin C Serum contains 7.5% Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) to reduce discoloration and brighten skin. Formulated with Hyaluronic Acid to retain skin’s natural moisture and Collagen to enhance skin’s firmness and elasticity.

This in a glass jar with dropper for easy application. You simply dab two or three drops onto your face directly or onto finger tips and massage on, follow up with your moisturizer of choice. Easy.

Does it work?

Yes.

I’ve been using it nightly for around two months or so now and my skin is noticeable brighter and looks considerably better with continued use. One of the key benefits is brighter, smoother skin. Now we are not talking about dramatically whiter, brighter skin so don’t get too excited. You will see a certain lift in your skin particularly if you suffer from dullness. Skin will appear smoother, healthier, and brighter. At least mine did. I’ve been using it religiously for several weeks and I can honestly see a difference in times I don’t use it. Say I skip it a night or for a few days to try something else out, I can see that my skin isn’t as great looking in the morning as when I used this as a nightly treatment.

The serum itself has a lavender herbal-like scent and feels a bit on the oily side. It absorbs easily particularly if you’re skin is dry and doesn’t leave behind an oily feel. One of the best benefits of the serum is not only how it gets my skin from dull to wow but also the fact that it’s formulated with Hyaluronic Acid with allows my skin to retain extra moisture so my skin feels smoother for hours on end.

Absolutely nothing bad here, really loving this and see it becoming a skincare staple.

4

  • Anyone with dry, dull, tired skin that needs a pick me up!
  • Anyone who desires brighter, smoother skin!
  • Anyone who needs an extra boost of hydration that lasts all day!

5

  • Those with oily skin (it is recommended for all skin types but the Hyaluronic Acid may make oily skin a bit shiny).

6
Overall Mario Badescu Vitamin C Serum was a win for me. Right now when my skin is dry and getting drier by the day due to the cold weather this is exactly what I need. It keeps my skin not only hydrated but also considerably brighter and alot less tired and stressed out.

Love this stuff!

Ooohhh, I have been contemplating what to order from them, I really wanted to try their whitening mask, so I’ll add this to the list. I have some remnants of acne scars I’m trying to fade off, and I’m quite fond of Vit C serums.

Yes they do. What also has been amazing for me is M2 Malic/Mandelic Acid serum.
It broke me out awfully the first month, but after it’s been controlling my breakouts and exfoliating nicely.
I’ve also seen my scars diminished (note, my acne scars appear as brown pigmentation like freckles, I don’t have much pitting at all after years of acid serums)

interesting kharanya mostly I suffer from dull skin thanks to dry skin :( so my skin is lackluster if I’m not on it constantly. Thankfully no problems with acne or scarring but the dullness is just as bad imho sometimes :(

Ladies be carefull because cosmetics and skincare products sometimes have hydroquinone and its really harmfull to the skin because yes it does whiten and brighten your skin but if youre not carefull putting on sunscreen religiously it becomes a nightmare because your face starts to burn and more dark spots suddenly pop up.
That’s why it been banned in some places like europe, so choose something with vitamin C (like mario badescu).
BTW- I love these products especially the cream I highly recommend them.

I just bought this item based on your review. I can’t wait to see the result, will definitely update you in few weeks. Mine smells abit funny though, slightly fishy. Do you smell it for your Vitamin C?
By they ways, have you tried the Cellyfirm Drops of Mario Badescu? It promises to help with firming, tightening and smoothing the skin and is light enough to be used as an eye cream/gel. I bought one and tried it as serum for eye and forehead area. Maybe it will help to erase (or contain) the few lines I have under my eyes *fingers crossed*
