MAC PeaCocky Kissable Lipcolour MAC PeaCocky Mega Metal Shadow Review, Swatches, Photos
MAC debuts two new formulas with the Peacocky Collection. New Kissable Lipcolour and new Mega Metal Shadow each sport a brand new formula. Curious about ’em?
I was surprised upon first seeing the new Mega Metal Shadows at their size. These are the larger size of a Mineralize Shadow.
So what’s new about ’em?
Let’s see!
Well I dunno if I’d call them super new. I tried two and the texture and formula varied on both. They kinda remind me of Starflash for some reason but aren’t nearly as flaky or frosty. Texture is velvety smooth and blends decently however does have a bit of fall out. Seems the formula varied in my two shades. Pranice which is a champagne mauve comes across very frosty and chunky where as Unflappable a blackened purple has more of a semi-matte, satiny feel and finish. I can’t really get a vibe for what they are going for here since the formula jumps around so much. I’m curious how the other shades will swatch and apply.
Strangely enough the Kissable LipColours also jump around formula wise. At first try I loved Temper Tantra which MAC dubs a reddish brown but hey I’m just seeing a bit of a darker dusky peach on my lips. The formula reminds me of Korres Liquid Lipstick but runs a bit thicker and has a more hydrating feel and finish. I don’t love cream lipsticks and this is pretty much what Kissable LipColours are however I liked the formula on this color very much and felt it wore quite nicely without migrating around my mouth. I was even delighted with the cream finish of the product. Following up with the shade So Vain I started to change my mind as this had a drier texture and applied very patchy on my lips. The shade is a nude cream coral which I felt looked terribly unflattering on never mind the crummy formula that seemed to want to migrate all around my mouth. Depending on color they seem to feel hydrating enough on my already dry lips and it goes without saying they are quite pigmented however the formula appears to vary in my test run.
I’m actually curious to try out more shades of both the Kissable LipColours and the Mega Metal Shadow to get a better feel for the formula.
Do you plan on hauling anything from MAC Peacocky?

I’ll follow up with another review when the collection launches and I make some purchases!
