MAC Me Over Fluidline Review, Swatches, Photos

MAC Me Over Fluidline 001

The MAC Me Over Collection launching later this August will include four shades of Fluidline. I thought all the shades I received very fitting for Fall.

Let’s take a peek!

Fluidline is a gel eyeliner which you can use to line and define or more daring types can use these as a base. The shades releasing with MAC Me Over are all Fall-friendly shades, Avenue, in particularly stands out as a very pretty shade for the season.

MAC Me Over Fluidline 004

  • Avenue: MAC calls this charcoal black with gold pearl but I personally feel like it’s more of a chocolate-y brown with gold specks.
  • Midnight Blues: This is a blackened teal blue.
  • Dark Diversion: This is a dark plummy shade which is a repromote from MAC Stylishly Yours.

I have Dark Diversion from last year and it’s one of my fav Fluidlines… Avenue looks interesting too.

oooo…me likely midnight blues!! Avenue seems to me like a darker version of the Lord it Over pencil from a few months back… ‘Course, it’s not like I need another flippin’ gel eyeliner… I counted the other day, and I have over 30 of them! (iz majorly embarassed….) But I suppose one more can’t hurt, can it? :)

How different are they from bobbis gel eyeliners? I am sure as a Bobbi-fan you know if they are way different or just a bit different ;)

Too bad I am always a bit ambivalent about gel eyeliners: I love them to pieces for a while and then I do not touch them for weeks…

Muse you ever have these dry out? I just opened a brown one that I’ve had maybe 3 months and haven’t used in a few days and it was nothing but a little dot in the pot, all dried up. this happened to be one time before too. Just wondering. It won’t stop me from trying another shade.

I looove the way Midnight Blues looks. I have a Physicians Formula gel liner that looks an awful lot like Avenue, but with chunkier sparkles, so I might pass on that one.

I’m glad you got the blue one to swatch because temptalia didn’t get it and i was wondering how it looked… I will definitely pass on the blue one and dark diversion, but avenue and the green one look amazing!! I think i’ll wear avenue all over the lid by itself for a pretty sparkly smokey look…could even pack on some reflects gold over top for extra bling! :)
