Lush Lustre Review, Swatches, Photos

Tis the season for sparkle, shimmer, and glitter. Actually that’s an all year event for me but it’s particularly prominent during the Holidays for many.

Lush Lustre is a brand new shimmering dusting powder that’s laced with golden goodness!

Take a look!

Lush Lustre is a soft shade of gold with the scent of sexy jasmine like that of Godiva Shampoo Bar and Gorilla Perfume Lust. For the old Lushies you might remember Pixie Dust which was a sparkling dusting powder sans color, just a bit of sparkle in the traditional Lush dusting powder formula however Lustre takes things up a knock as the entire powder is a delicate shade of gold that you can sprinkle on legs, arms, and chest.

I think the fun part about the product is that it’s highly fragranced so you catch lovely little sniffles of jasmine when you wear it! You can sprinkle this anywhere including on your face or mix it with your favorite moisturizer for a little gleam, just don’t over do it!

I wish Lush has placed it in the regular sprinkle pot as I find the shampoo-style bottle a little clumsy to use since the powder doesn’t flow freely through the bottle cap spout but outside of this I’d say this one is a love!

Supposedly jasmine absolute is a known aphrodisiac so this one may captured you a mate this Holiday season!

Likey lots!

I must have this. I have to go pick up my last pay stub next week, maybe I’ll pop into Lush.

WOW…I’m loving the idea of this. I’ve ordered from Lush 3 times recently (for myself but also gifts)…so what’s a 4th time gonna hurt LOL?

By the way, Muse–I’m using Fresh Farmacy, Tea Tree Toner, and Gorgeous right now and am really liking the results! I only need a TINY amt of Gorgeous since I am naturally quite oily but so far it’s working fantastically. And I love the smell! I’m going to try rotating the FF w/Angels on Bare Skin (which I’ve never used) and Dark Angels (I’ve used this before but I think i went overboard…I’m going to use it once a week or so this time instead of every day). I need the exfoliation sometimes but I love the drying/mattefying effect of FF!

yay for switching to Lush Skincare Bonnie! That’s fab ;-D Dark Angels you don’t have to use too often, I use it once a week sometimes even once every two weeks. I highly suggest grabbing Bûche before it’s gone, it’s even nicer than AOBS imho!

Thanks for your help Muse! Perhaps my next order will be Buche and Lustre…and oh well, might as well through another bar or two of Snowcake in the cart 🙂

ha ;-D good idea before it is gone! no worries, I’m the queen of spelling/grammar errors!

Goodness Muse you know how to make the money fly out of my wallet… 🙂 After perusing Buche de Noel and Lustre on Lush NA I got a little panicky as many said that Buche de Noel sold out so quickly last year…so I took your advice and bought some of both. 🙂 Also I ordered a trial size of Cosmetic Lad for BF!

I wanted to love this product but for some reason every time I get a whiff it reminds me of mothballs! So weird! But I love some of their other new winter products!
