Les Merveilleuses de Laduree

Les Merveilleuses de Laduree 4

The Les Merveilleuses de Laduree Collection launched in Tokyo recently. This is a selection of incredibly lavish makeup inspired and brought to you by Laduree, yes, as in the creator of delicate Parisian macrons.

Pastries aren’t exactly in the realms of makeup but Laduree puts as much care, beauty, and sweetness in their new color collection as they would any of their decadent desserts.

Take a look!

The collection is made up of 12 pieces which includes base products as well as accessories and color cosmetics. Obviously, the star of the show here, is the Les Merveilleuses de Laduree Face Color Rose Laduree which is a blush shaped as small rose petals!

I haven’t indulged. I was considering a purchase but word is we might actually see the collection stateside and within Europe in 2013. I’m a little skeptical but if it means the prices will be a bit lighter on my wallet I’m willing to wait considering that yen to USD is brutal at the moment. But looking at these images aren’t making things easy so I imagine I’ll cave soon!

What do you think of the collection?

A-MAZING, wish I could justify that kind of splurge. I guess if I didn’t grab other goodies….I just spent almost 200 on Etsy. I have been seriously lemming the ByTerry Balme de rose. Once I get enough birch box points, it will be mine!!

I found out about this collection online a week ago and I’m been DREAMING/DROOLING/SLEEPING/bREEDING this ever since! If only it were less expensive! I really hope it does come to the states because I don’t want to get it for some jacked up price online. Also, I feel that shipping would probably destroy the petal powder or something. :O

Oh yeah, I have been lusting after this collection since I first saw it. I mean who could say no to something that looks that elegant? My makeup table demands to display these fine cosmetics! I am a total blush whore, so this must be mine! I sure hope we get these stateside cause I would be in makeup heaven.
