The collection will launch May 24, 2012.

There’s actually already been a nautical themed collection from MAC but not a Summer one. I am disappointed. I thought they’d go more warmer with this, don’t get wrong there are warm elements to it, but not sizzling Summer ones. I really wanted something orange, corally in nature but I guess you can’t base an entire massive MAC Collection on a single shade alone.

I’m not sure any of this is appealing to me at the moment.

How about you?

So LOVING this packaging!! One of the best they’ve done I think!

The To Catch a Sailor lipstick looks interesting, only because I like odd colored lipsticks and feel like I could use a gold frost :D Otherwise, I’m a bit overwhelmed by all of the stripes, lol.

OH MY GOSH! This collection is so cute! I didn’t like any of the collections coming out lately (or their promo photos) but this is adorable! I want it just for the casing almost! Sadly, I have similar colors to most of these already, but tempted by Sail la Vie lipstick, the various eye shadows (would need to see how the frost shows up), and MAYYBE a blush… The bag is also super cute. I really love nautical/marine themed stuff though.

I like it! But I’m surprised they did this again as they had the Naughty Nauticals collection (Summer 2008, I think) which was similar in theme. But I definitely see some things I will *need* ;-)

yup, agreed Janelle, mentioned in the post they already did a nautical theme, kinda a rehash :-/

Also, Re: the pantone collection at Sephora, what do you think of the blushes? I’ve heard they’re good (specifically the chrome one), but haven’t seen many blog reviews on it yet. I’m tempted to get but no idea… Still need to drop by the store~

I like it! I really like it infact. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous, the high-light powder looks amazing! I can’t wait for swatches of it. And the 2 blushes look really good too :) Oh and the lip balms! Yeah I’m really liking this collection lol

I really LOVE the packaging. I have to get a lippie because it will match a shirt I got at WHBM – it’s white with the navy stripes going in diagonal different directions just like the cases here.
I will probably end up with the red or orange lippie (lvoe those colors in summer wtih just some liner and mascara.
Maybe a gloss but I really just want to whip out that lippie when I’m wearing the shirt. LOL

To be honest I’m glad I don’t want everything. I might though after swatches. I’m particularly interested in Salute! and Red racer lipstick. I think the packaging could be a bit more nautical. Maybe have some red in there.. I do like how the stripes go in different directions though and I can’t wait for swatches!!

I LOVE the packaging! so pretty^^ I foresee the highlight powder in Crew to sell out quickly. And new Suntints!! I don’t really love any of the lipstick shades except for Salute. Lipglasses and the other products look fairly interesting though :)
Maybe a Pantone collection later in the summer with MAC? *crosses fingers*

I love this packaging! I’ve been skipping a lot of MAC’s LE collections if they don’t change the packaging at all (unless there’s something outstanding), I hate having to memorize all the names since all the black packaging looks the same lol!

I don’t like the promo photos with the model – I think her makeup looks really naff and dated. MAC usually put a fresh twist on everything and make it look so modern. Although the products sound good I’m not feeling the whole vibe of this collection! X
