I think there’s something to said about a bronzer the size of your head. Sephora wants the world to glow and for $24 you’ll have all the bronzer you’ll ever need and some left over change to purchase a small village to use it on (as well as yourself).

Let’s take a look at the new Sephora Hot Hues All Over Bronzer ($24).

My first experience with lipstain/cheek stain was when I purchased the Schick Stick off of HSN about 10 years ago (it might have been even be longer than 10 years ago).
Yeah, the Schick Stick, sounds like a razor to me. But actually it was a cheek and lip stain housed in a tube with a sponge applicator. It was created by the super friendly, utterly gracious, and oh so gorgeous Morgen Schick (she e-mailed me randomly a few years ago just to say hello and thanks for liking her product, I was gobsmacked to say the least).
Morgen, to this very day, still sells her brilliant cheek stain/lipstain and it remains a fond favorite of mine.
Lip and Cheek Stains have evolved so much though. New packaging, formulas, etc…where as before the market was lacking, now the market is saturated with all kinds of stains.
I think one of the main complaints about stains is the irony that they have such a long wear time on cheeks but go drier on lips and sometimes don’t wear as well.
The new Yves Saint Laurent Glossy Stain is testimony that hope is still alive for a lip stain that wears all day with a hydrating formula.

As we head into Summer, Tinted Moisturizers as well as BB Creams will start to trend. It’s a given that once the warm weather gets here every single brand will be pimping out their tinted moisturizer.
I have drier skin and Tinted Moisturizers are a great way to even out my skin tone while providing some a nice hydrating finish.
The new Lancome Renergie Eclat Multi-Lift Multi-Action Tinted Skincare goes beyond the simplicity of a tinted moisturizer.

I’m legendary for loving Sephora but hating on their makeup collection. You have this vast boutique of quality makeup and a company that chooses to bring it all to you in one location but they proceed to fail at their own cosmetics collection.

How is that possible?
But facts is facts, Sephora has evolved and instead of having to sort through a ton of hit or miss products, most of what I’ve purchased lately, has been great.

Proof in point, the new Sephora + Pantone Collection. What a incredible collection. The packaging, the pricing, the quality…it’s all so very up scale. Well done Sephora.
Here’s a few images of the new Sephora + Pantone Color of the Year Collector’s Edition Set.

Stila Eye Shadow Sets (Trios) are now $12 at Sephora. You might recall Stila’s venture into the budget realm with the It Girl Palette sometime ago, these sets follow the same design and concept but are now available in five shade selections.
Choose from:
- Hollywood Blvd
- Melrose Ave
- Mullholand Drive
- Santa Monica Blvd
- Sunset Blvd
The original It Girl Palette was quite good quality but Stila definitely has a track record for turning down the volume on some of their budget picks so I imagine these aren’t the original Stila Eyeshadow formula but I’ll have to wait and see how they are.
On a positive note, they are $12 bucks!
Sweet!
Available now at Sephora and Sephora.com
Whatcha think?

If thicker lashes is what you seek than Tarina Tarantino Fleur de Lash Mascara is here to save the day. No bells, no whistles, just a big, bushy brush that grabs lashes up and creates plump, full, fat lashes.
Ahh the joy of simplicity.

Sephora Be You Lip Balm is an extension of their recently introduced Color Reveal Lip Balm. I liked Color Reveal a lot. It was cheap, it flushed my lips very nicely, and I only complained about the taste….pretty darn great for a self confessed ranter about the Sephora Makeup Collection.
So, I was pretty excited about the Be You Lip Balm but I’m not sure why they bothered changing the name. The color is called Coral Twist and they could have simply just included a new shade or added it to the Color Reveal Lip Balm line up right? But hey, I don’t express knowledge on the mysteries of makeup marketing.
Let’s take a look and see if Be You Lip Balm is as great as Color Reveal.
