Anastasia Beverly Hills Holiday 2012 Sets

Anastasia Beverly Hills Holiday 2012 Sets 5

Anastasia Beverly Hills has introduced two new sets for Holiday 2012. Is it absurd that we are talking about Anastasia Beverly Hills Holiday 2012 today?

One thing I dislike about beauty blogging is when I have to discuss Holiday 2012 in the Fall. I love the Fall so much and hate to rush it along. Chatting Holiday 2012 sucks some of the joy out of Fall for me.

Boo!

But before you know it we will be worrying about the Holidays.

Let’s take a look and see what Anastasia has in store for us!

I’m completely on the lipgloss set. I LOVE these glosses. Such a great texture and so glossy.

Reviews are on the way of these new sets.

On the bottle itself (in katakana) it says “Mild Cleansing Liquid” so I think the problem is that the Japanese people who created it don’t know the difference between a liquid and a gel cleanser (at least not in English lol).

Awesome! Thank you both! I can’t wait to try it :D

If I got last years lipgloss set and found it too neutral do you think I’ll like this one better?

I actually didn’t get last year’s tammie and can’t recall the shades, these are a mix of nudes and pinks. Dunno if that helps?!

I have to look at mine again tonight but it seems really similar…there was at least one pink but most were nude? I wish they’d put their brighter pink ones from the main line in these sets, I would really prefer those…the ones from last year were mostly sheer/similar to each other too..

some of these look the same as the birthday suit but I didn’t actually compare them. this is 50/50 split, three nudes, three pinks :) these are sheer too, so far the hydraglosses I’ve tried, birthday suit and this set, have all been sheer but had a nice tint to them that gave an MLBB finish!

I feel like the only thing I associate Anastasia with is just brow products. How are the eyeshadow formulas?

You lip gloss links cracked me up. I can’t think of those names without those songs coming to mind. I LOVE the Anastasia glosses and the value of the holiday sets is pretty amazing. I loved the 2011 set and will likely pick this one up, too.

The lipgloss set looks awesome. I love every color from the bright fuscia and leftward (four colors in all). The other two don’t really interest me much but hey, maybe they’ll be surprise-awesome.

    Looking forward to the review!

Muse!! I am SO excited you will be swatching this as have had it in my basket online at Sephora website waiting for it to be in stock! I love the combo of neutrals with some pops of purple. Haven’t tried her eyeshadows yet so hope the pigmentation and colors are good! Not so sure about the packaging, looks a little bulky for storage? Can’t wait to read your review!

oh actually no jen, the palette is smaller than a cd case! It comes in velvet lined box but you can toss it if you’re really short on storage. :-D so not so bulky at all…! I’ll be swatching/reviewing for ya shortly ;-D How are you today? Hope all is well!

Muse, Check out the new Laura Mercier set on Sephora…. OMG!! Am in love,,,,,,,,,however price tag a bit ouchy but her products are worth it. I have been disappoint in Bobbi Brown stuff lately as feel her pigmentation is lacking. I used to be a die hard fan of her stuff but now prefer LM over her products. What do you think?

I KNOW I saw ;-D ahhhh! I was going to post today but didn’t get the chance. purchased two illuminating eye shades, loves those! gotta admit, I’m a bigger Bobbi fan than LM ;-D few things disappointed me but mostly I get a 90% success rate with bb ;-D I just can’t get enough of her stuff and appreciate it more and more as I get older ;D!

I am with you on the more neutral palettes. As I age I need to draw attention away from my wrinkles..not direct it at them! I saw the Bellini Bobbi palette for holiday….I am hoping you will review and swatch!! I got the Nude on nude palette from Bobbi earlier this year and was a bit disappointed at the sheerness of the shadows. Cement is one of my all time faces as is her Shore and ballet pink cream eye shadows!!!

Can’t wait for your review. Trying to decide between this gloss set or LORAC s holiday set. Never used lipipies in these lines.
