Dior Grand Bal False Lashes Holiday 2012

This was provided to me by a brand for review but all opinions expressed are my own

Two things I can’t master, liquid eyeliner and false lashes! Dior Grand Bal False Lashes for Holiday 2012 almost make me wish I could pull these off without 1. poking an eye and 2. looking like Alex DeLarge. I’ve totally had those crazy moments of applying false eyelashes, blinking, and suddenly having them stuck to the bottom of my lower lash line…! Granted, there isn’t anything wrong with running around like Alex but the crazy has to stop somewhere sometimes.

If false lashes are you bag though darling I’m positive these elegant faux lashes will make an excellent Holiday look!

These widely expensive false lashes don’t come cheap dears. $28 will get you one of two designs that Dior has introduced with their Holiday 2012 Collection but refrain from falling too deeply in lust with them as they are available for a limited time.

Adorned with subtle silver pearl drops or soft gold Swarovski crystals you can choose from designs Pearl Drops of Gold Crystals. The lashes are super soft and have a full, natural fringe with just a touch of sparkle on the inner corner of the eye if you choose the Pearl Drops design. For more bling you can indulge in Gold Crystals which has a lash line of gold Swarovski crystals.

These are very elegant but count me surprised they didn’t throw in some lash glue for the near $30 price tag.

Ouch!

These lashes are available now at Dior counters or online at Dior.com

Do you wear falsies?

Oh these are just gorgeous. I wear some version of false lashes on a weekly basis. I’ll use individual ones to make my lashes look more full and natural, or accent lashes. I hold off on full lashes unless its for a night going out or some event of sorts. I love and worship falsies!

I’m a total falsies freak. I was very excited by the unique lash design of Gold Crystals, but now I see that it has the gold on the lash line and I no longer care.

Agreed!! I love falsies, but the extra rhinestones don’t float my boat. At. All.

I’ve been wearing falsies for about 10 years. The pearl ones are really pretty but are too expensive for me.

Ok I defitinely had the biggest crush on Alex and rocked some drawn on bottom lashes occasionally in my more youthful youth…. Hahahaha it feels good to confess!

Anyway…. These look luxurious and lovely! I need to master falsies so I can join the party.

kc I think I was 15 when I first saw OC and proceeded to make a vow to marry Alex lol! ;-D me too, I suck at falsie application!

Gorgeous, but waaaay too expensive for what they are. Or maybe I’ve just been spoiled by Japanese $1 lashes and now I can never go back 😡
