Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream Review

Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream

Did you know for the fifth Limited Edition Label Art Series for Earth Day, Kiehl’s partnered with Zachary Quinto to create a Ultra Facial Cream to benefit Recycle Across America.

Both Zachary Quinto and Alanis Morissette partnered with Kiehl’s to designeda Limited Edition label, depicting their vision of social responsibility for the Ultra Facial Cream (my new obsession), which is now available in Kiehl’s stores and on Kiehls.com.

100% of the net proceeds of this series will benefit Recycle Across America (RAA), and through this program, Kiehl’s will be donating $50,000 to the organization. RAA is not-for-profit organization dedicated to delivering society-wide solutions that eliminate public confusion, stimulate the environmental economy and expedite progress, and the funds raised from these labels will be used to create 65,000 standardized recycling labels, which will be donated to K-12 schools nationwide.

Earth Month for Kiehl’s is also the time to reinforce Recycle and Be Rewarded! in-store recycling program. This ongoing program is available only in Kiehl’s free-standing stores nationwide, and allows our customers to return their empty Kiehl’s bottles, tubes and jars for recycling, in exchange for product. Kiehl’s has just passed the 1 Million mark, of the number of Kiehl’s empties that we’ve recycled in our stores!

Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream 6

Not only does this newly labeled Ultra Facial Cream support a good cause but also it’s the first time it has crossed across my skincare radar and now I’m obsessed!

I cannot believe I’ve never tried Ultra Facial Cream until just recently! How!? I’ve been misisng out on such much!

Comparable to my beloved Steam Cream this lightly textured quick to absorb creamy gel like moisturizer leaves skin incredibly smooth and soft (particularly during the cold weather). It offers 24 hour moisture and feels like a cold drink of water to my drier, flakier skin. It not only gives my skin intense hydration but helps to reduce the loss of moisture allowing it to maintain it so my skin feels like its creating new moisture with each application leaving it visibly smoother and softer.

I’m still shocked that this is the first time I’ve tried this!

If you have drier skin I highly suggest snagging a tub of this especially when the weather begins to cool off again. It’s a little too rich for daily use in the Summer months but it’ll work a treat for restoring moisture in the evening or use daily and nightly in the colder weather.

If you suffer from drier, flakier skin do check out Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream.

And hey, now is a good excuse as any to do so as it marries your fandom of Spock with skincare…go on now, you know you’re loving that this is related to Star Trek on some level. Or maybe that’s only my geeky good nature.

I totally agree, anything that I have to put my paws into like that to get it out, sucks! Squeeze tube, pump, something, anything, but a tub! XD

I’m so excited about this! Fun fact: One of my mom’s friends is married to Zachary Quinto’s brother so by association I guess I can almost say I know him, lol (:

I’d love to try this because a) it looks like a good cream and b) I adore Zach Quinto to pieces, but it’s got two flaws against it: it’s in a jar and I have oily skin, so…it’s probably not a good match for me. Alas.

I used this for a few years and loved it. I have combination skin and was able to use it year round. You just use a whole lot less in the summer. No breakouts either. I’ve since gotten bored and switched over to Clarins (for now), but highly recommend this, as well as the Kiehl’s Ultra Face Wash. Takes makeup off, including mascara, very well. Again, I got bored and have switched to Clarins, but I’m sure I’ll be back. Both products last a long time because you need so little. Highly recommend.

DO you think this would be good for combination skin? Would this cause breakouts?
