MAC Hayley Williams Review & Swatches
MAC has collaborated with Hayley Williams, leader singer of Paramore, to create a small yet vibrant collection for Spring 2013. The MAC Hayley Williams Collection launches today at maccosmetics.com
Here’s a little sneak peek at two of the four pieces in the collection!
I got my hands on the MAC Sounds Like Noise Lipstick and MAC Daydreaming Eyeshadow to test out and have been wearing the shadow non-stop the past several days.
I love Daydreaming! This is a soft mid tone coral that packs a nice pop of color. The shade is a deeper coral with a burnt reddish base. The color definitely isn’t a traditional coral which is one reason I find it so easy to wear. The color is a veluxe pearl which means color is intense and the texture is soft, easy to apply, and blends easily. I’m a fan of the veluxe pearl finish so I’m very happy with this formula. Having been disappointed with MAC so much lately Daydreaming stands out as a true gem!

Also in this launch is Sounds Like Noise Lipstick which is a bright orange with a matte finish. The shade looks incredible with gloss as it sheers out to a peachy orange that’s very wearable. However, I find the matte finish a tad drying without gloss and extra bright so I’d recommend a little clear gloss if you’re gun-ho to try this but not a matte or an orange fan.
I wish they had done a few more pieces with this collection (it’s four products total) including perhaps an orange blush of some sort but the pieces I did try I was quite happy with.

I’d recommend checking them out.
