Hi Muse! I’m starting to build a Tarte blush collection and I’m confused about one of these new colors. Tarte says that Flush is new and while it does look different than last year’s Flush that was part of their permanent line they are using the same name. Do you know if it’s a new color or some sort of improvement to the previous Flush? Thanks!

i don’t have the shades so can’t really compare the two Lisa, I’m sorry…they list as new on their site and apparently they are listed as new at Ulta and Sephora’s website as well. If I get the shade will compare.

The shade looks very different to me too. I’m getting it today or tomorrow (I ordered it from Ulta). I’ll try and remember to come back and let you know how different they are. From the pictures, I would say they are very different, and Tarte for some reason decided to reuse the name. The old Flush doesn’t seem to be available anymore (expect in a kit being sold at Ulta). They did the same thing in their Amazon Escape palette. They have a blush in there names Exposed, which is very different from the permanent line Exposed.

Hey Lisa! I have the original Flush and it is MUCH darker than the shade pictured here and on the Tarte site. When I wanted to get it last year it was always out of stock, and then finally disappeared, so I ended up swapping for it. So, since it was out of stock for so long and now they’re saying it’s new, I would say it’s safe to say that it is a different color. The original probably didn’t sell well because it’s a little terrifying in the pan. I do plan to get this new one too. It looks beautiful! 🙂

Just wanted to let you know that I got the new Flush and True Love today. I just posted a picture on Twitter with the old Flush and Natural Beauty as comparison (my twitter name is the same as my name here). The new Flush is VERY different from the only one. It is a little darker than the picture above, but not a whole lot.

Fearless is a great shade! I love the photos of the chubby lip pencils and cheek stain in the shade fearless as well! I might have to pick up all three! And you’re right, these blushers are so addictive! After I bought Frisky, I immediately went back to get Exposed and Glisten. Now, I must have more 🙂
They are some of my most used blushes in my ridiculous collection!

  • Ash Evans

Tarte is going to get SO freaking much of my money this year! There are so many things they released that I want!

  • anne

Ouhhha hhhhh lol.. Fearless is so pretty on. I know i will still get Flush even if its the same name as the old one but different color. And def true love 🙂

  • Sienna

I swatched Flush at Ulta the other day. It’s very similar to Dollface – not an exact match, but close, which is why I didn’t buy it. It’s so pretty, though.

  • Rebs

These were out when I stopped by Sephora tonight. It looked they were still in the process of changing over their displays with all the new spring products – they didn’t even have all the testers out yet. I picked up Flush – it’s such a gorgeous color!

All three are really pretty shades. I haven’t seen them anywhere other than Tarte’s website and ultra.com. They weren’t in my Ulta store yet. I was really pleasantly surprised to see Fearless is a true pink coral as described with a matte finish. I have the Fearless that was part of a collection on QVC, which is a bright pink with shimmer. The same thing happened with Glisten and Adored. They were both part of collections and when they came out as permanent shades, they were slightly different than the originals. All three new shades are matte finish, which makes me very happy. LOL.

I was really hoping that one of these blushes would be Crave from Tarte’s Off The Cuff blush palette. Do you think that any of these blushes would compare to/be a dupe of it?

  • Keri

Fearless came in one of the first rounds of the Tarte discovery kit, I can’t remember which month though. Mine doesn’t seem nearly as coral though *sniff sniff* it is still a wonderful shade!

  • Lisa

I own both the old Flush and the old Fearless, and I’m kind of annoyed that tarte decided to recycle those names for totally different shades. It’s confusing for customers and annoying for those of us who make tutorials and try to communicate to people what products we are using. It’s totally unnecessary to recycle the names like that.

Fearless is still fearless but without the shimmer? FLush looks similar to doll face and True love is the product if doll face and tipsy had a baby? Need MORE blush bc all the other Taret shades I have just aren’t enough. Does this make me a Tarte Blush Horder?

  • Maria A

Actually True love can be the baby of tipsy and natural beauty? I think I need it in my life

  • maria A

I swatched these today at sephora. Flush is closer to doll face just a little darker. True love and fearless are similar in coral color. It’s a pink coral and not a true coral like tipsy and all are a true matte. No sheen no glitter
