Physicians Formula Nude Wear Touch of Glow Review & Swatches

Physicians Formula Nude Wear Touch of Glow

Physicians Formula Nude Wear Touch of Glow ($12.95) is a new highlighter and touch up pen with perfecting nude pigments that give a bare skin effect when used to highlight and contour areas of your face.

Physicians Formula Nude Wear Touch of Glow comes in the cutest packaging every! Like the Physicians Formula Nude Blush and Powder this has a darling little bow on the cap (sadly mine broke off when I opened the packaging boo!)! The tube is wrapped in a textured faux fleshy colored leather with pink gold metallic accents.

Available in a single shade, Nude Glow, this pen can be used as a concealer, highlighter, touch up tool, or as a contouring cream. The pen has an attached brush applicator with a twist mechanism located on the bottom barrel of the packaging to allow the cream to flow into the applicator.

This shade isn’t exactly universally flattering but a wide range of skin tones should be able to use it. The color is a lighter creamy beige with peach undertones with absolutely no shimmer and sparkle.

Physicians Formula Nude Wear Touch of Glow swatches

This is one of those handy formulas that’s very versatile. You can use as a high brow highlighter right on top of your brow bone to awaken sleepy eyes, or dab a little in the inner corner of eyes to diminish darkness and brighten up eyes, try it under your eyes as well to brighten, or down the side of your nose to contour. The possibilities are endless!

The formula blends easily and has a creamy texture which dries down to a satin finish. It doesn’t crease in the finer lines under my eyes and has a decent wear of around five to six hours before fades and you might need a touch up. I use it in conjunction with concealer because it is a bit sheer to use on its own. However, for quickie touch ups to head out the door and run some errands it does a nice job of freshening up my under eye area when I can’t be spending too much time doing my makeup!

Physicians Formula Nude Wear Touch of Glow is a nice pick for your makeup bag and touch ups on the go. I know by the end of the day I’m looking tired and I’m not interested in redoing my concealer to head out for the night. This is the perfect pen to pack with me for quickie brightening on the go without reapplying concealer…!

It’s available now at drugstores.

Hey Muse! Could you tell me how this formula compares to the Maybelline Dream Lumi Highlighting concealer? Thanks!

  • Merc

Hi Muse! How would you compare this one to the new PF CC concealer pen/highlighter thingy? Which is better and which do you recommend?

    • Isabella Muse

depends what you’re looking to do, they are slightly different, this one reminds me of Coastal Scents Bright Eyed Eye Brightener as it brightens considerably better than the CC concealer pen. The shades are a bit different as well as this isn’t as light as the CC one. Although the formulas are exactly the same creamy feel with satin finish. If you need more brightening up go with this one for sheerer concealing go with the CC one.

not at all Susannah, Dior’s Skin Flash is considerably more pigmented and the formula is far more creamier and hydrating.

oh well — love Skin Flash but not the $40 price tag. Trying to find a sub that’s less pricey — any suggestions?

thanks for all you do with your blog — entertaining, informative and helps me save money — love you!

I love Skin Flash too, one of my favs 😀 Mmmm I’ll be honest I own hundreds of touch up/concealer pens are none are as creamy and hydrating with the coverage that the Skin Flash Radiance Pen offers! Clinique has one that’s quite nice but not really a dupe :-/ aw thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! very flattered! love ya back 😀

I think it was so silly for them to release a non translucent face product in one side shade. I can’t imagine this covering a wide range of people. Just those with light to medium complexions maybe. Anyone on the fair end of the spectrum or darker than NC/NW 30 probably won’t be able to use this. I like the packaging and concept but I can’t see this working for too many people.

I saw this in a couple lighter shades. I’m am nc30 now and its slightly too light for me but I am not really a very highlighted type.

Hi! Can you please explain how this, dream lumi, and clinique airbrush compare? Which have more coverage? Which do you like more than the others and why? Thank you!

I bought the nude wear foundation and concealer stick. The foundation is a little too dark for me. I think I can make it work in the summer when I’m a bit darker. However the concealer stick is darker than the foundation. It is much too dark for me to ever use. I was wondering if this concealer is darker than the foundation too? If not I might give it a try. Thank you for your reviews. You are my favorite blogger!
