Bare Minerals Blemish Remedy Acne-Clearing Foundation

Bare Minerals has a new pressed mineral veil in the works for Fall and check out this new Blemish Remedy Acne-Clearing Foundation that just launched.

The brand isn’t actually new to the world of acne clearing foundation as they’ve had products in the past like Blemish Therapy powder that were similarly formulated.

But let’s check out this new formula and see what the word is!

Bare Minerals Blemish Remedy Acne-Clearing Foundation ($27) is a lightweight mineral foundation that helps to treat blemishes and redness. It’s formulated to prevent new blemishes from forming while it treats blemishes you may already however, with a mix of minerals and Salicylic Acid. The lightweight formula promises a non-drying finish that blends easily and creates natural looking coverage.

Recently, Maybelline introduced Dream Pure which also acts as not only coverage but a treatment as well to prevent blemishes and heal ones you might already have.

Bare Minerals Blemish Remedy Acne-Clearing Foundation is available in 12 shades now at Sephora and Sephora.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Muse, is this a cushion foundation? The container appears that way but it also looks like it could be powder.

i don’t believe so, it’s a powder from my understanding Dee!

I feel like they stole the packaging design from the tarte mineral foundation.

      • Puri

Agreed! It also looks like Chanel is coming out with a foundation in the -exact- same packaging as well. Too bad for Tarte I suppose :/

I think MUFE made this case earlier than Tarte?
It is just one of a typical container?

The original version wasn’t an all-over foundation, right? I thought it was just a spot treatment; I did like it.

I just tried Bare Minerals foundation for the first time and I was blown away. After one sample, I had to order a full container from Sephora. And I am definitely going to try this. I no longer have acne but a little extra protection never hurts.

I was going to buy the foundation, but they were out of my shade so I just got a sample. I found it hard to use (maybe because I didn’t have it in the bottle.) I found that the oil separated and that I couldn’t get it to look natural. This didn’t happen for you?

Hmm, really curious about this one. Might pick this one up when it launches as I’m running a little low on my beloved matte mineral foundation

hmmm very intrigued, possibly by the pkg lol. I never tried tarte, all their colors leaned too yellow. I wonder how much cvg is a natural cvg lol.

It looks like Tarte’s powder foundation when it comes to packaging. I NEED this fr my acne prone skin!!
