About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Great minds do indeed think alike and I have already placed my order. Come to mama!

I already own several of UD’s palettes: Smoked, Book of Shadows, Vice 2, both Wizard of Oz, and a few others. Do you think I need this one or are the shades too similar to other palettes? Just looking for an opinion. Thank you!

I’ve been wanting to pick up Bordello, and the only shade I wanted from either Oz palette was Tornado, so I think the $34 pricetag is justified! Unfortunately, this is showing as Out of Stock at my local ULTA, so I don’t know if that just means they haven’t put it out yet, or if it’s sold out… I’m wondering if I should take a chance and wait, or order online…

Ulta hasn’t put them out yet. I’m thinking it’ll be during the 21 days of beauty we start this Sunday. The palette is very pretty, it’s actually a lot smaller then the photos are letting on.

The date I’m hearing for in-store release is Sept. 7th. Not sure if that’s accurate though

I just hauled myself to the nearest Ulta that was showing it in stock and they didn’t have it! I think it was in a box somewhere and they were too lazy to go back and check for me. Luckily I called customer service and complained that they said it was In Stock and it wasn’t, so they are waving my shipping fee and I just ordered it! I had $6 in the Ulta reward points (they doubled my amount as a special offer this week), so I’m getting it for $28. Super happy! I like the mix of colors and there’s not a ton of overlap. I have Sin and Smog in Naked and Mushroom in Mariposa (but I can always use another one of those!)

Being a UD addict, I just purchased this and since I had a bunch of Ulta rewards points saved up, I got $9 off 🙂

Ugh! I want this palette for the three exclusive shades, but I already own the other nine… -__-

What’s an Urban Decay junkie to do? *sigh*

Also showing in stock at my local store and the saleswoman said she didn’t know if she could sell it yet. She went in back and got one for me so I guess they can sell it even if it’s not on the display yet. Can’t wait to swatch!

I do want this, I think, but I might just wait to see what else comes out. I have 12,350 Ulta points saved up for a value of $761.00. I plan on doing all of my holiday gift shopping out of that and picking up a holiday palette or set for myself. Points add up fast when you’re a beauty addict plus I get my hair done at Ulta and take advantage of 3 and 5x points offers. I wanted to try the Foreo Luna and picked it up along with an It for Ulta brush set on 10x points day.

I feel like I NEED this palette though!!

Yes, but to be fair, I haven’t spent points since Nov. of last year. But last year I got a Clarisonic Pedi, Clarisonic Mia2 (for a friend,) and the Panasonic Nanoe hair dryer for free with my Ulta points. The dryer is very, very nice by the way. They really do add up fast if you get your hair done at Ulta and watch out for bonus points offers. I even buy my acetone and cotton balls there. Oh, and gifts for both men and women all come from Ulta – birthday gifts, ect. The most I’ve ever had was 14,000, which is $875. I’ve never reached $1,000 (16,000 points.) I also never use less than 2,000 points at a time because 2,000 has the most dollar value per point. They did change the rules last year and the most points you can use in a single transaction, though, is 4,000 ($250.)

that’s still very impressive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I actually don’t shop at Ulta enough to get all those pts now if Sephora did dollar value pts I’d be rolling in ’em haha 😀
