WOW. These colors look beautiful. I think I may purchase all of the items. When you initially announced the color of the year I was disappointed thinking it would be muted brown but these colors are nice vibrant variations. Now the question is………. How do you feel about Sephora brand eye shadows? I know a good primer will work wonders for most eye shadows even cheaper ones but I don’t want to work too hard. From the pics I don’t see anything that I don’t want.

    • Isabella Muse

I don’t know about this particular palette Adrienne but generally Sephora has being doing ok with their eyeshadow palettes. Velvety, pigmented, blends easily. The past few pantone palettes have been nice 🙂 If you look back in the archives I have a few reviews! Hope this helps 🙂

Sephora eyeshadows are amazing! Sephora is actually owned my Louis Vitton. And all the sephora collection makeup is made by Louis Vitton. The reason for there lower price range isn’t because they are less quality but because they spend more money producing a great eye shadow then they do their packaging. With other brands your spending most of your money on the packaging. You can never go wrong with purchasing sephora collection.

      • Isabella Muse

i wouldn’t say ALL of the Sephora Makeup Collection is great. I find it a hit and miss. Really depends on what you purchase.

  • Emma

I really love all of these but I don’t know if it would drown out my super pale complexion. Its already muted due to my super blonde natural hair color -_-

  • Cassi

I want the blush palette, the layering lip set and the brow mascara (I have auburn hair so it could work).

  • Robin

I want the lip products and maybe the cheek palette. mAC has a lip shade called O that I loved, however I found out after using their products, I’m allergic to the line. This lip color looks like a close dupe!

    • Majick

Robin, do a google on swatches of both colors before you buy. TO me “O” is a little more bronzy-purple? I don’t know, I could have my head up my butt. LOL I just find that if you click on images after the search you come up with lots of options and also other dupes. Happy hunting for your perfect shade.

  • Melis

I so love that this years color is marsala! Those lip pencils and the cheek trio are lovely.

  • JoElla

I am shocked that I am so drawn to the eyeshadow palette. And I need the lippie set and the blush set.

Damn you Sephora and Pantone! Damn you!!

  • Jes

I think I actually want this whole line! The mascara/brow wand is really interesting!

Love that more U.S. companies are embracing hyaluronic acid as an ingredient for cosmetics.

  • Rachel R.

I want it all! That eye palette looks especially stunning, and I’m lusting over the mascara and liner.

  • Katherine T.

2015 is going to be the year of the empty wallet for me! I never cared for radiant orchid (too hard to wear), but I love wine reds and brown reds. The eyeshadow palette looks very tempting and the lip layering collection too, and this is just from Sephora! Can’t wait to see what the other brands are doing to get my money

  • elyssa

How do you get beauty product samples to review & swatch? I am adding beauty reviews to my YouTube channel, but first I need sponsors or PR samples. Can you help? It would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

    • Isabella Muse

in my experience brands will find you. If they are interested in your channel or your blog they’ll contact you and ask if you’d like to review their products. I’ve never relied on brands to exclusively supply me with products to start my website, you probably shouldn’t expect that either. They aren’t going to provide you with every single item you want nor should you expect them. You need to purchase products to review/review items in your own stash, build your audience, and with time and patience brands will contact you and ask if you’d like to review so and so product. Without an audience brands aren’t likely to get in contact with you so you should spend time building an audience so you’ll get noticed by brands and get them interested in you. Hope this helps. Good luck.

  • Heidi

I can pass on most of this, but with Marsala being named the 2015 color of the year, I am hopeful there will be some nice warm brick red lipsticks coming out. That one lip creme on the left looks almost exactly what I’m hoping for!

  • Lacy

WOW this collection is breath taking! I will definitely be getting the palette, the lip set and the blush palette. Also like another view said I was also a bit weary on the color and it being too brown or muted but well done sephora, well done! Can’t wait to see your review!

  • Eli Caroline

ooooh. All of these are so pretty. The packing has really improved since the previous years. I hope the formulas have improved too. I always found the previous years to be hit or miss. -I really, really want that cheek trio

    • JCz

I agree, the packaging is so beautiful – really luxurious for Sephora! I also like how they’re mimicking other brands (multiple stick, cheek trio, lip crayon) with more affordable pricing, but still quality product. Good on you Sephora!

  • Jenn

When i first saw a swatch of the color I thought, meh, not sure that’s for me…when i started seeing actual products I was like COME TO MAMA…HAHA, I loved orchid and emerald but this…you can use it everywhere, it is so versatile. I seriously want almost all of these items. *sigh* There goes the Christmas money. Hehe.

  • Majick

I have to agree that when I first saw the color I thought, “meh, ok”.
    NOT ANY MORE! lol
I particularly like the mascara and liner. I think it would have been better suited when I had the red hair (I’m back to a caramel with super blonde highlights right now) but it will still make green or hazel eyes look super.
The lippie is also a color that is so easy to wear. In fact, if you’re afraid of red but would like to try it, brown reds will get you there. I’ve always loved red and bold brights but wore a brown red for a long time because it was more toned down for the office.
These products look REALLY nice. THe blush stick reminds me of a NARS multiple.

  • Majick

Oh, and THANK THE LORD I don’t have to tone down my makeup for the office any more. YEA!

    • kellly

Yeah, my thoughts, too. I can wear this and not look overdone, look natural but better than looking like I didn’t bother. It’s perfect! I’m really looking forward to getting some of these as soon as they arrive!

  • Emme

I’m super excited about this! I want the eye palette and the blush palettes for sure!

  • kellly

I am soooo looking forward to this! I want the lipstick for sure and that little multi-stick thing, too. I’m definitely going to check this out. This is a really good color for me so I’m going to go check it out right away!

  • Val

Loooove these items! Will definitely be picking up the eyeshadow palette, lipstick, and lipstick set. Do you happen to know if these will be in-store December 26th, or just online?

    • Isabella Muse

you can call and ask your local store but I believe it’s online only on that date!

  • Catherine

Looks like the collection is showing up online at Sephora, but only the lipcolor and the liner are ready for purchase. Hope they hurry and get the other pieces in the collection up to order. I am stalking the website!! lol

      • Catherine

Could the cheek pallet be sold out already, or do you think they just haven’t released it yet? I am waiting so anxiously to order everything at once. Thanks for your information on beauty products, and all the work you do for us. <3.

        • Isabella Muse

Catherine I didn’t check the cheek palette today! I do know some items showed out of stock earlier this morning and ended up coming in stock when I posted this. It’s possible it’s just showing as out of stock and will come back in stock shortly. Sorry about that :-/ Aw you’re always welcome!

          • Catherine

Got the cheek palette finally!! I should have waited one more day, to order all at once, but I am glad to have it coming. Sephora shipped it already. The rose gold packaging is so beautiful!! So excited for this collection!! Thanks for all you do!! <3

          • Isabella Muse

oh gosh my pleasure Catherine so glad you got it! enjoy!

  • Ali

Isabella! Love your blog. What’s the deal with the Collection? It seems to have sold out in a matter of weeks. This doesn’t seem normal! I’ve been dying to get my hands on the eye palette and would love if you have any inside knowledge… or experience re: Pantone products returning. XO

    • Isabella Muse

hi ali thank you. Yeah, this year it sold out fast! I’m still seeing pieces floating around stores though! so check your local shops. Not sure why it sold out so fast this year, just popular I guess 🙂
