    I’m putting this in writing to keep myself strong: I am done with Tarte. I’ve bought several of their palettes and I am always disappointed with them. In fact, the only ones I have kept are the all matte eyeshadow palettes because, as you know, I love matte shadows, and the Amazonian Clay palette, also matte shadows and blush.

    You cannot tempt me, my not-wicked step-sister!

    • Isabella Muse

      lol aw man you sure? tempt tempt tempt…I’m sitting in a boring ass broker’s meeting at the moment and thinking I should order it for myself as a treat for having to yawn my way through this 😀

    • Dee

      Wow, I’m just like you! Every time I get one I wish I hadn’t spent the $$. But then the new ones come out and they look so promising. But I’m passing. I think.

    • NJ

      yeah I hear ya. I want a full on true pink blush. I guess I wont hold my breath.

  • devon

    please say that this palette is comparable to the june shipment of the TSV…i do NOT need another one of these!!! :]

      • Janessa

        I’m wondering if this is the same palette coming in the TSV auto delivery. Does anyone know?? I tried to compare it to the sneak you showed us of the future shipments when the TSV was available, but can’t really tell..

        • amy

          Honestly, there has been way too much “cross-over” when it comes to tarte eyeshadows. I have all but 1 of the “original” 10-pans, True Blood, and 3 of the Holiday/Sephora sets, and there are just too many similarities within the neutral shades. As tempted as I am to buy a palette every time, I stop myself when I realize I have the same shades, just by different names… From what I can tell, this looks way too similar to the new matte palette recently released.

        • chibi639

          I don’t believe this is comparable to the TSV. The description for the June palette is as follows:
          Golden Opportunity, a golden brown shade;
          Sienna the Future, a burnt sienna shade;
          Like You a Latte, a brown shade;
          Highlight of my Day, a pearl shade;
          Cream of the Crop, a beige shade;
          Mauve Mountains, a plum mauve shade;
          Blush in Insightful

          • Janessa

            Now I’m really into the Showstopper Palette! Why did that picture have to show up?! I can do without the poppy palette and go for the round one instead.

  • Viv

    Hey, any chance you’ve tried the serene lip creme before from tarte? I’m intrigued and its calling my name haha but I’m wondering if leans more pink or is closer to a coral?

  • Marua

    I feel the same way as the lady Devon who said above that maybe the eye and cheek palette is the same as Qvc auto delivery Spring second shipment. I do not need a duplicate.

  • kimkats

    Here Tarte…. Just let me sign my whole paycheck over to you… no, no.. I insist… it’s easier than me just ordering. And Ordering. And Ordering. from you…. I simply must have that palette. I really like the one that came with the last TSV, so I suppose I may as well have this one too.. Sigh…. Iz such a sucker…

  • devon

    preach kimkats. all these beautiful palettes just suck you in!!!!!!!

  • Marti

    Isabella,
    First, I should say – I’m addicted to your blog. Thank you for doing all that you do. Your blog makes it virtually effortless on my part to keep up with new releases. Not to mention, your reviews and swatches have influenced my purchases more than once. Do you know where to purchase the Tarte Showstopper Clay Palette? I’m not seeing it up on their site yet. I really want to have the patience for it to launch at Sephora, but the incessant information gatherer in me NEEDS to know more 😉

    Thanks!

    • Isabella Muse

      hi marti, Thank YOU SO MUCH for your kind words! 🙂 <3! I don't yet have a date for launch, Tarte has given me "April" so I'm saying they'll update shortly! Perhaps as soon as next week? Keep an eye on their "new" section as I'm sure it'll pop up there shortly 🙂

  • Rachel R.

    I love the looks of the Poppy Palette, both products and packaging.

  • Diana

    Is the poppy picnic eye & cheek palette one of the palettes that’s going to be in the later QVC TSV shipments (remember the TSV from Feb that first has the palate like this?)

    • Diana

      Nevermind! I saw the great comments above! Yay team 🙂 I can’t wait for swatches!!!

  • Maria

    Isabella, I wish that Tarte would make more colorful palettes. It seems that each eyeshadow palette has neutral and assorted brown shades each season. I love Tarte but more variety is needed.

  • koolchicken

    I’m am so excited for this! I’ve literally been waiting for them to release something new since the matte palette. I’m so in love with this brand. I have the rainforest after dark palette and I really love it, but now that we’re into spring (the cherry blossoms have been out for weeks now where I live) I’m looking for less moody colors. These both look so good! Neutral, but with some fresh pops of color!

  • diane

    I’m on a big no tarte palette buy because I have so many and haven’t touched them, unless an all pink toned palette comes out! hehe. I am super curious about the sun tan lotion. I am looking forward to more details on that, the bottle is adorable!

  • kim

    Tarte has become far and away my favorite brand this year. I use the most recent qvc palette more than any other that I own, and I am officially addicted to their blushes to the point where I am considering handing down my benefit boxed powders. I need that lipstick, both palettes and will probably try one of the lip cremes. I love that you always have the first scoop on new tarte products! Thanks! 🙂

  • Flaky

    Yay, ILLUSION!!!! This is one of the lip surgence colors that was in the Xmas mini set. I have worn it down to a tiny little nub & was bummed to find out it wasn’t a permanent shade. I’ll be stockpiling s few of these.

  • Angel

    I’m very interested in the deets on that SPF. A quick google search found one for sale on ebay and the ingredients show physical blockers rather than chemical. I couldn’t read the full ingredient panel as it wasn’t a clear picture. I’m praying that this is truly a physical blocker with no silicones! It is unbelievably hard to find a silicone free SPF that has no chemical sunscreens in it. Can’t wait to hear more about it!

  • CupK8

    That Poppy Palette is goooorgeous. D: I think it must be mine. I hunted down some photos and it looks like it’s a fairly decent size – I’ll have to see it in person, but I’m drooling over it.

  • Ruby

    I saw the Tarte Showstopper round palette on Sephora’s site and immediately looked for your review. None of the stores locally have them yet. I’ve bought all but one of the past round palettes and loved them. They have everything I need in one handy package. Just curious to see swatches to see if the new one is more “sparkly” than I care to wear. Any reviews on this in your future?
