Dior 5 Couleurs Designer Makeup Artist Tutorial Palette Launches
I fear I have a love hate relationship with Dior Eyeshadow Palettes so I’m not sure if I’ll love the new 5 Couleurs Designer Makeup Artist Tutorial Palette.
Things I do love?
Reeve Carney.
Such a beautiful boy!
But about those new Dior Eyeshadow Palettes….
The new Dior 5 Couleurs Designer Makeup Artist Tutorial Palette ($62) are inspired by a makeup artist’s palette featuring five shades to get an easy gradating color on lids. The satiny eyeshadows have a pearlescent finish and give eyes a contrasting look easily by using each of the five shades to shade, sculpt, highlight, and define eyes in five easy steps with five beautifully pigmented shades.
Shades:
- Nude Pink Design
- Khaki Design
- Purple Design
You might have spotted the major problem with these palettes, that being the cream eyeliner. Mmmmm! I dislike cream and powder products housed in the same compact as it does create a bit of a mess. I also fear the liner will harden up and become unusable given time! But maybe Dior will fool me here. I admit to loving the Khaki palette but Dior eyeshadows tend to be a bit too frosty at times. Don’t get me wrong, I own a few I adore but in most cases they end up more of a miss for me than a hit.
Perhaps these new palettes will change my mind…

Reeve unfortunately doesn’t come with your $62 purchase but you can drool all over him by watching Penny Dreadful on Sunday nights. I actually saw him in Spiderman on Broadway but just started crushing on him last season as Dorian Grey in Penny Dreadful. His dandy persona is too sexy! Yum!
