Sephora Colorful Eyeshadow Photo Filter Palette

Ah photo filtering apparently a guaranteed way to make us look our best! The new Sephora Colorful Eyeshadow Photo Filter Palette cashes in on that “photo filtering” technology with two brand new eyeshadow palettes that give you that coveted flawless, picture perfect finish that photoshop or photo filters would.

Too Faced recently introduced their Selfie Powder Palette which is getting quite a buzz (personally I think of it as more of a bust) so I guess the Sephora COlorful Eyeshadow Photo Filter Palette decided instead of the face they’d concentrate on creating shades that provide a professional lit look on lids.

This collection of palettes uses the tricks that photo editing software or photo filters do to provide your eyes with colors that capture light and create a perfect, flawless look on your lids.

Sephora Overcast Palette:
10 Eyeshadows in Sandcastle, Flagstone, June Gloom, Getaway, Berlin Underground, Rocky, Black Lace, Cozy Sweater, #Happydays, Smoke Signals

Sephora Colorful Eyeshadow Photo Filter Palettes

Sephora Sunbleached Palette:
10 Eyeshadows in Walking in the Sand, Selfie, #tbt, Swell, Latergram, Whitewashed, Sandy Toes, Desert Rose, Swan Song, Secret Boudoir

Sephora Colorful Eyeshadow Photo Filter Palette

The Sunbleached Palette gives eyes a touch of a sunny, natural glow where as the Overcast Palette is all about a smoldering smoky look!

The Sephora Colorful Eyeshadow Photo Filter Palette ($32 each) are available now at Sephora and Sephora.com.

P.S. Who’s watching True Detective S2? I watched episode one late last night and I’m already confused. Where as season one was all about introducing us slowly to two damaged characters, S2 is all about throwing us into a vortex of several different character’s lives in one go. I’m not sure which end is up at this point but obviously the lives of all these characters is about to become tangled up together. I can’t wait to see how it progresses but I miss me some Matthew Mcconaughey in a tight fitted shirt and slacks! Alright, alright!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Watching S2 and I’m like you, already confused!!! Lol. To be fair, I haven’t watched S1. Dear husband loves the show and the writer, so he begged me to start watching and said they were anthologies so the seasons were unrelated and I’d be ok missing S1. It’s interesting though! I think I’ll keep watching.

Liz, yeah, he’s right, so far no need to watch S1 unless it goes all American Horror Story on us and suddenly seasons become connected but so far nothing in S2 is related to S1 so looks like you’re good. I am puzzled beyond belief at this point but I’m sticking with it because if it is anything like S1 it is bound to get weird, dark, and interesting 😀 Glad you’re watching it! We can discuss now!

those are pretty. what are Sephora’s shadows like. I’m very happy with the lip and cheek products I have bought.
Need to plan a trip ☺

I’ve honestly been a bit disappointed with the selection of new palettes coming out (is it a sin to not care about the upcoming urban decay?), but these look just different enough to grab my attention. I can’t wait to get my hands on them, especially “sunbleached”. 🙂

I saw these on Sephora.com this morning and decided to wait to see them in person (I work across the street from a Sephora, and a few blocks from another) to determine where they are manufactured. I have some Sephora brand products that are great and no coincidence made in France or Italy, but I avoid the made in China stuff which is usually lacking.

Overcast has colors that are right up my alley — and cloudy, cool days are my favorite.

Would you be willing to comment on your thoughts? I don’t live anywhere close to a Sephora but I love the idea of these palettes.

I’m watching TD2!! Was insanely crazy about the first one… TD2 looks like it might get interesting… I was *very* unsure about casting Vince Vaughn as a serious bad guy, but so far I have to say I’m impressed. Man- there is basically nothing to like about any of the protaganists right now, but if they go into their back stories like it looks like they will, that might change.

it’s a mighty challenge to live up to Woody and Matthew!!

    • Isabella Muse

I can def get on board with Vince Vaughn as a bad guy! 😀 Yeah too true! All of them look like they have some major, major issues! I’m eager to see/hear more of their back stories and there is A LOT to live up to from S1 so I’m ready to brace myself for a wild ride 😀

ps not to be a complete perv but I have my doubts about Rachel Adams and getting her freak on. Apparently she’s some sort of nympho which they are lightly hinting at in E1 but I’m very curious how far they’ll go with it because she’s such a “girl next door” type so I’m unsure how far and dirty they can be with her character!

These are gorgeous but my last experience with a Sephora palette made me doubt whether they merit their price tag.

  • angelina

This is the only blog i follow religiously and this is exactly why. You’re always the first to let us makeup junkies know about the new releases.god for the muse! Thank That sunbleached palette is seriously calling my name.hope it doesn’t disappoint.

    • Isabella Muse

aw thanks angelina hugs! 😀 I really like the sunbleached palette too! it’s gorg!

  • Tracy

Oh wow, these are so pretty ! I’m not sure about the quality of Sephora’s shadows though… would be great to get some reviews !

  • maritza

they look gorgeous, but I will rather wait to see your reviews on these before taking the plunge 🙂

  • TheQuietBrunette

    Ooo those are pretty palettes!
I’ll have to check them out, thx 🙂

  • Genevieve

These are very pretty colours for summer and cater to both warm and cool toned complexions. But no greens! Or blues! Sob, sob.
Sephora’s products are generally good, and I would like the ones made in France or Italy. Those made in China may involve some animal testing, of which I don’t agree with.
