As usual Bobbi has come out with a gorgeous collection including an eye shadow palette to match. I am at a point where I am swearing off of palettes because so much of it goes to waste on me. I have my 4 pan that I can switch off shades. I am also not big on gray tones as they seem muddy on my deep-set brown eyes. The liners look interesting, but I probably won’t need that much pigment. Is it me or are Bobbi’s products getting pricier? I am saving my money for the new concealer.

Yes! She has indeed gotten very pricey 🙁 love her stuff but it seems to have gone up dramatically the last few years!

The liner palettes look interesting (especially the blue) I’m going to have to go check those out.

“Greige”…that’s a turnoff right there as far as I’m concerned. This collection looks like a huge snore.

A palette that is strong on grey is right up my street! I have bought too many browny brown palettes that can make my eyes look a little muddy although have been mixing recently with blues and greys to nice effect.

I didn’t get the name yesterday when the BB e-mail came through but on saying it out loud I finally got that it was grey and beige merged into one word! I rather like it and nice change from the various ‘nudes’.

I really like the look of the liner palettes especially the blue – the combo of that and the eye palette remind me of my fave YSL couture palette ‘Fetiches’.

ps if you think US prices are high am guessing that eye palette will be circa 59 in the UK which is $90 when the prices are released here.

Collection finally came out the UK this week. Eye palette is priced at 52 ($80) so I wasn’t far off! I bought it yesterday and it looks beautiful – almost too good to use. I was already made up for a night out so haven’t tried yet but looking forward to trying some cooler shades for a change.

Wow – I love this collection of Bobbi Brown’s the best I have ever seen. The colours are so cool toned. All that blue/grey/brown. Warm toned browns just don’t really go on me. Love all the colours in the collection.
No doubt BB will be incredibly expensive here in Australia too – probably around the $90-100 mark for the palette. We can only get it in one shop David Jones in Melbourne. No competition.

What??? I must be hallucinating. A Bobbi Brown palette that isn’t all neutral browns? You mean there’s actually COLOR??? Like blues, purples, and greens? OMG, I can’t believe it, as the last 200 palettes have been 50,000 shades of brown. Well, I do hope the colors perform well, and she will add more colors to her palettes.

As much as I want to care, I just can’t. Bobbi Brown eye shadow palettes have been such a huge disappointment for the last year or more. Very little pigment, too much glitter fall out, and very repetitive. Plus, the prices just keep going up. Her eye shadows used to be some of my favorite (hello Nude on Nude Shimmerwash palette) but now I wouldn’t take them if they were free. My go to now is Tarte.

I wasn’t really considering this palette until I saw it in person. I’ll make an appointment at the counter in Sept to see how it looks on me. I was not sure when I first saw this in print. I then went to the counter and tried it and love it. Very wearable.

The new Luxe lip colors are amazing.

For those saying there is no pigment, apply it with your fingertip.
