Fortune Cookie Soap Fish Fingers & Custard Whipped Cream Review
Fortune Cookie Soap Fish Fingers & Custard Whipped is a limited edition body cream releasing tomorrow with the Fortune Cookie Soap Man With a Box Collection. As you know Fortune Cookie Soap’s limited edition Man in a Box Collection is inspired by Doctor Who so I’m sure, like me, Whovians are running around in circles excited about the launch of this bath, body, and makeup collection. Yes, makeup, they’ll be a limited edition lipgloss that will be available with this collection.
The collection wouldn’t really be complete without a fragrance named Fish Fingers & Custard right? Far from exhausted after his regeneration our introduction to the 11th Doctor starts with a very hyper and peckish Doctor having a young Amelia Pond, his future companion, rustle him up a little snack. Unfortunately, being newly regenerated the Doctor doesn’t quite know what his favorite food is. After a smorgasbord frenzy of foods are tasted and flung out in disgust the good Doctor settles on fish fingers dipped in a creamy custard.
Yummy!
Or funny as Amelia proclaims.
But I digress, what’s most important now is how does Fortune Cookie Soap Fish Fingers & Custard Whipped Cream smell?
Fishy and sweet?!
I should start by saying one of my favorite body creams of choice would be Fortune Cookie Soap’s formula. I really hate body creams because they make me feel sticky and tacky! I really try hard to get on board with Bath & Body Works and Victoria’s Secret body lotions and creams but they are just too sticky! Yak!
Fortune Cookie Soap’s formula is delightful. It’s a whipped up lightweight cream that isn’t greasy, heavy, or sticky. It absorbs easily into skin, hydrates nicely, and leaves behind a gorgeous fragrance.
In this case, the fragrance would be Fish Fingers & Custard. No, not really! There’s nothing fishy here! Just a gorgeous cake batter-like fragrance that has a creamy vanilla note that’s positively delicious. So delicious in fact that you might be tempted to eat it but please don’t! Notes here include cake batter accord, whipped cream, and a dusting of cinnamon! To my nose, it smells very custard-y and cakey. Truly a delicious fragrance that I’m sure the Doctor would approve of.
You’ll be able to get your hands on Fortune Cookie Soap Fish Fingers & Custard Whipped Cream tomorrow (1/29) as well as the entire Fortune Cookie Man in a Box Collection are fortunecookiesoap.com.
Happy Shopping Whovians!
