Milk Makeup Cooling Water4

Milk Makeup Cooling Water ($24) is a new hydration stick created with sea water and firming caffeine that can be used anywhere that requires a touch of refreshingly cool moisture. You can swipe this little baby under your eyes, on your cheeks, across your forehead, anywhere you need a little moisture quickly and easily. It also acts as great primer for makeup as it sets a nice, smooth canvas for foundation!

Take a look!

Moisture sticks like the Milk Makeup Cool Water Stick aren’t really a new thing as Korean brands favor them fondly. I’ve reviewed quite a few in the past like the Skin Food Facial Ice Vita Cooling Stick and even ones targeted specifically for under eye use like Tony Moly’s Panda’s Dream So Cool Eye Stick. Here in the US this trend isn’t as common but there have been releases like Stila’s Aqua Glow Perfecting Primer, DuWop’s Flight Stick, and even E.L.F. Studio Daily Moisturizer Stick. By the way if you’re going a little cheaper you might want to check out E.L.F. Studio Daily Moisturizer Stick as Milk Makeup Cooling Water and it share a few of the same ingredients (aside from caffeine!) but I will say Milk’s formula is a little nicer! But hey, if it’s something you just kinda sorta feel curious about spending $6 versus $24 is always a nice option to have.

I actually tend to stick one of these in my purse as I like having them around to quickly swipe on my dry areas. This isn’t always great though as it does interfere with your makeup but when and if you’re touching up your makeup you can use this to prep with. It’s also really super great for travel as it’s not a liquid. Or if you’re staying over at a boyfriend’s house or a friend this is a nice little stick to have around as it takes no room in your makeup bag and you’re not carrying around a big old bottle of moisturizer.

This is actually one of the nicer moisture sticks I’ve personally tried as it does in fact do what it promises and that would be provide all day hydration. It kinda makes my face slightly dewy and lightly hydrates but that hydration is quite lasting through the day. It smooths, softens, and eliminates my flakier areas like those between my brows and by the sides of my nose and cheeks. Unlike a lot of the Milk Makeup products I’ve been trying this has no fragrance. It does have a cooling sensation when applied but nothing that stings or tingles. I like how plush my face feels after I use this and I also love the fact my face looks visibly brighter. I tend to get duller when my skin is dry so a little moisture and my skin is instantly looking brighter. Typically I use this for a little light moisture but I also use it as a prep for makeup as it makes my foundation apply oh so much more smoothly.

I think that the texture is a good deal nicer than many sticks I’ve tried in the past. It’s a little softer, absorbs a little more easily, and as I said it provides all day hydration.

All in all this one is a keeper. The Milk Makeup Cooling Water Stick is a nifty little product to have around for all skin types whether you’re prepping, priming, or just in need of a little lightweight moisture this is a great moisture stick to have handy!

Agreed! Love it under my eyes, also down the sides of my nose (cracked, dry skin from Winter there)! 😀 It’s one of the better moisture sticks I’ve tried!

really depends how often you use it but the full size you can get a good 8 to 9 months out of it. My pleasure!
